Pete
Now how did I guess they'd be something exotic? Wallabys? Whens the drive through park opening?
Chris Wilson
Yep a pair of male Bennetts Wallabies, a gift for hatching that Vulturine Guinea Fowl chick out and lending my pal the broody hen to foster it until the Spring. Quite a nice gift too, they are failry expensive over here. Only downside is I initially pu them in with the emus and the emus tried to kill them, so they are now rather buggering up the grass in the pheasant enclosure. I may divide the emu compound and let them have a private area back in there. I quite like them, one's becoming quite tame.
merckx
Very nice! Hope you'll be letting them in the house if it gets too cold!
Alex
When does the wildlife park open for business? Do the local schools arrange trips round yet?
Pete
Yep a pair of male Bennetts Wallabies. I quite like them, one's becoming quite tame. Wallabies are very cool. What do they eat?
Chris Wilson
Wildlife park is only open to customers They eat fruit, vegetables, grass, rabbit food, horse nuts, not fussy as far as i can tell. I wanted a pic of one eating a carrot, but the damned thing wouldn't oblige. I 'll have to tie wrap on its gob.... Even I am not allowed in the house with muddy feet... The Hornet
ROFL tie wrap you rotten sod hehe. I love animals, but due to work it wouldn't be fair for me to keep any. (although I do love me 2 pet rats) I've got one of them to come to me when you say her name.
