Guest cj748
Hi All, New to the minefield of options for new plugs and leads. Have a '94 N/A 2JZ-GE Aero (auto) What is the best option for plugs, leads, rotor arm and dissy cap. I'm guessing gains from "performance" parts on N/A are minimal?? Can anyone help, Iridiums seem expensive, but seem to last way longer?? I did see thread where "Import pimp" could supply all, but can't find it. (newbie!!!) Thanks and Merry Xmas
merckx
You could always send the pimp a pm and ask him. Just get stock parts if they need replacing, you'll be just wasting your money otherwise.

Just replaced mine and when I was looking saw that Nic had quoted someone else about £80 for a set of leads. Its a good price (Compared to the quotes I had) but needed a set fast. I was quoted on average £140 for a set of leads and about £30 for cap and rotor from most factoring companies around me and on the web also. Eventually I ordered them from CES (Central auto supplies) in Wellingborough through a mate who runs a small garage and has an account with them. With his discount I got the lot for £101 and that was next day service. They are copies but look identical to the originals, only difference I can see is that the leads are not numbered like the OEMs. Yes you are right it seems, gain from a NA at a reasonable cost are minimal, and although many will probably dissagree with me on this I reckon the most noticable gain I have seen, or to be more accurate felt, is from removing both cats. In the case of the first one I hollowed it out, but you will need to either replace or anneal the sealing rings to get a good seal afterwards. I managed to get a full set delivered to my door for £9.99:) after speaking to Steve Manley. Good luck. Shane
