Guest coops1
Has any-one ever heard of one of these, I know I haven't. I am selling my car and someone has offered it in a PX but I know nothin about them let alone what its worth. All I do know is that it is an import, 2 door, 20v, fwd. Any more info would be great... PS i am sure it is not worth even looking at but any input would be great, more out of Curiosity than anything else
tbourner
It's linked with the Trueno isn't it? AE86?

They are a Corrolla model, I don't know a lot about them but they are very popular here in HK. http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=toyota+levin&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 http://images.google.com/images?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=toyota+levin&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi http://www.trdparts.jp/english/list_ae111.html

Big Ads
180 odd bhp??!! There is a 1.6 Supercharged version, so that may be acurate.
Jspec Germany
It's the white car you see 30 times a day in Japan. They're everywhere there. Driven one. Didn't excite me. Motor blew 2 weeks later.
Thorin
The 1.6 is ~130BHP as standard IIRC that's normally aspirated, there was no supercharged version as standard. Of course turbo/supercharger kits are available. I preferred the pop-up lights on the Trueno.

dan4
late type corolla with the black top 20v engine, not really fetching a great deal anymore as the market for corolla tends toward the AE86. the engines are a common transplant in ae86 corollas for drifting Prob worth about 1500 as a trade in? but then you gotta do summin with it which will prob make like difficult

Sparky
Yeh my mate owns one and has just set up a club for them. The car as a general is great. Its got quite abit of power, not super duper powerfull but his is running 150bhp and it still pulls well. The engine is very reliable as most toyota ones are. Good boot space and leg room for passengers. Downsides, Front wheel drive, N/a and expensive to mod power wise and expensive parts! Check it out... http://www.levinoc.com Its also a forum for the trueno's, Ae86, 111 etc. Its quite basic but its only been up for 3 weeks now! Guigsy
I pulled along side one in northampton the night before japshow. coolblue was with me and i wound my window down and kev goes "Hey man a levin!" the bloke in the levin goes "Supra! Nice!" so i respond with "thanks... nice.... erm... what the hell is a levin" Then the lights changed and i left him in a cloud of tyre smoke before he had chance to answer His was black. i like them they look a bit like a mini aristo. Quite rare. ive only ever seen one.

Guest coops1
so if I was to say swap my aero top with it and say £2500 cash my way (if he was up for it) what would be a good option to go with power wise or engine transplant ?? or would you guys just leave alone? I know power is well down but I find the na supra just to slow. Quick enough off the lights being an auto but other than that I miss the turbo and have no other money with a baby on the way to put towards more power? Suggestions ? chris2o2
I'd rather have another prelude than that mate - bit more poke too if you can get a decent vti . You dont have to take this car do you !

Guest coops1
I was only playing with the idea and not as a swap, dam man im not that mad. After what you guys have told me I have told the him I am not interested in the Levin now anyway so thanks everyone. No I have had 5 or 6 skylines and always liked the look of supras but now I have one I find it to slow. If I had the money I would buy a TT but I dont so just playing with loads of ideas at the mo... If anyone has a TT that wants to swap with my Aerotop then I would be a very happy man

TT power 4 doors which really helps with a nipper and change from 2 grand if you look in the right place. One of the guys on the aristo forum is selling his excellently LPG converted aristo for about £4k so you get cheap to run, fast, and 4 doors. For me if you want power, practicality, and a car to run cheapish you won't find much better. Its also got the BPU route and lowering and customising potential as much as the supra. Guest coops1
Hummmm looked around for an aristo forum but can only find a little section on lexusownersclub.co.uk and nothing in the for sale section, any link brian? Just looked around and I like them a lot. Look at this one..A little out of my price range but something to aim for and I can get a baby seat in it...... http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/TOYOTA+ARISTO/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146,N-4294962396-4294967173/advert.action?R=200749299835011&distance=98&postcode=AL10+0RJ&channel=CARS&make=TOYOTA&model=ARISTO&min_pr=&max_pr=&max_mileage=
