chrisda
Hi there everybody.... Can someone tell me what this is? The hose, what is that? I have that on my car, it was there when I bought it.. Kind regards Chris
Soonto_HAS_soop
A picture of it from the rear of the engine bay may help, but it is running water around to the back there for some reason. Maybe to preheat something a little quicker than standard?
ardasaliah
could be something to do with the idle control valve?
Digsy
Its a jumper between the radiator top hose and oneof the heater hoses. No idea what for though.

Alex
The Supra's cooling system is the best of any car I've experienced. It stays rock solid even when racing round a track
Gaz Walker
I think its to warm the in-car heater faster (probably by .5 of a second!) Gareth.
chrisda
I think its to warm the in-car heater faster (probably by .5 of a second!) Gareth. Hi there.. Here u can find a textnote on the hose. It´s on a website in japan called: http://www.night-pager.com With the 2JZ engine, the chilled water from the heater hose the bypass water flow route was lightened with being able to point in ラジエターアッパーホース, the sufficient cooling water flow was guaranteed. Because of this while the rear cylinder where heat is easy to accumulate - temperature stabilizing, controlling water temperature rise it prevents thermal ダレ and the overheat of the engine. You recommend to サーキ ット travelling. Regards Chris
