Chris Wilson
Just browsing a Volvo forum and found this rather nice custom cage shown in the build process. http://www.trianglesunlimited.com/images/GTcage/ They do some really nice stuff for RWD Volvos, it's amazing how much hard core stuff is around for these cars
SteveR
Looks pretty serious - even more bits than rally cars have - isn't that a little OTT? What's it for? Not much room for the shopping!
Chris Wilson
It's quite a modest cage by modern touring car standards, the Swedes love their old Volvos and there are some truly awesome things done to and with them over there. It'll be used for post historic touring car racing I would guess. They go well with 400 HP from their little 4 pot turbo engines!

Chris Wilson
http://wwwrsphysse.anu.edu.au/~amh110/group_a_volvo_specs.htm I just found this, and if you look at the Getrag gearbox info link they have used pics I took of the set up I made for my old 240 turbo, years ago. I am famous Everyone was bending stock clutch release arms at the time, and suffering very heavy pedal pressures running the very high spring rate AP racing clutches for the group A race cars. I made a concentric clutch cylinder adaptor kit which transformed the pedal effort and feel. I think I sold 4 of them.....
