Animal
Lucy works in a home insurance call centre in the accounts department. There are only half a dozen of them looking after all the invoices and they get sent gifts from the various contractors they deal with. All the gifts get taken off them, put into a pile and raffled off between the entire building of 2000+ people, the chances of them actually getting something are slim. How much does that suck? Also, she was off the day her manager came round organising the xmas meal, so she got left off the list. The head of HR wouldn't add her to the list as it was all finalised. Thing is, it was a free xmas dinner in the office canteen! Not as if a restaurant had been booked. Her morale is really high this year. not. Charlotte
Our MD got given a borat style 'mankini' in the secret santa thing just a minute ago, which he modelled. Not very christmasey but still I think people here are in the spirit of things. Oh and we get to leave a whole hour early for the party later. Scoboblio
Lucy works in a home insurance call centre in the accounts department. Insurance company? Bunch of theiving b****ards? Why is everyone so suprised? That sounds properly mean of them, as if they're pretending to be all generous and festive by running a raffle made up of other people's stolen presents. Supragal
We are so so so busy in our dept that we just had no time for a tree etc. 2 of us flung some lights up about 2 wweeks ago but they have stopped working already (great) it's not very Christmassy here at all, and I'm one of the only people here on xmas eve. Booo.
MrHanky
Our department kind of prides itself on not being christmasy. Vicki wrote cards out for the people here and forced me to hand them out (she works at the same company), I had to apoligize to the recipients as I did so
