Class One
As the title says, I'm after a bugle. My daughter took part in our village Rememberance day Parade this year for the first time and marched with the war veterans from the village to the memorial service. They were led by a piper and the service was held. After the 2mins silence, there wasn't a buglist to play Last Post or Reville which I have to admit was a bit strange. After the names of the fallen were read out from the book of Rememberance, the piper played a funeral lament which was very moving, but it was the firts Rememberance Day Parade I've ever attended where the Last Post wasn't played. At the end of the service I asked the Vicar why it wasn't played and the simple reply was is that they didn't have anyone to play, so I volunteered to play for next year. What I'm after though is a decent full size bugle and I'm wondering if any of the current or ex military chaps here have any connections with their Regimental Bandmasters to see if I can purchase one direct. The interweb seems to have a plethora of ornamental type bugles rather than playable instruments, and as I haven't played properly for some 25 years I need to practice, as I don't like the idea of letting the old boys from the Legion down. Long shot but worth a punt here. Thanks.

Class One
Looks like an ornamental one to me. The mouthpiece is too small. You see alot of them on ebay which is why I'm trying to find one direct from the military if possible.
