Yep, I'm up for that :)

If you look on Forzamotorsport.net and login with your Live ID, you can see all the rankings / scoreboards for the time trials, hot laps, career and exhibition.

I'm second out of all friends on the time trials with Markie Parkie 29 mins in front of me :)

sounds like a wicked idea to me :)

Which track is Tsukuba? my mind has gone totally blank :(

Tsukuba is the the short(ish) track with a 3 hairpin bends.

Ok we will start with those 3 stated above and Class S: Maple Valley, if nobody has any objections?

Why not just pick the same car, must be stock. Maybe the Mk4 Toyota Supra.

I personally like the idea where you have to find a good setup and combination of parts which is just as important as driver skill. It makes you want to experiment with different cars and settings, trying to eek out another tenth of a second.

I'd say we go for a front wheel drive car, just for the extra understeer-esq challenge :-)

Nothing above class-A though, as it just gets silly.

Why not restrict it to a Class+Drivetrain+Aspiration?

I.e Class-A / FF / NA or Class-A / MR / Turbo etc? Then people can have a variety.

You should be able to adjust the settings of the car, but to keep the challenge standardised, one stock car should be chosen, or else it'll just be about finding the quickest car for the track, not about how good your 360 skills are.

I think the amount of sub categories could get a bit silly like that. It would spread the competition out somewhat.

I'm still adament to stick to the initial plan.

There isn't much to adjust if the car is standard and I think that it's good to try and find the fastest car for the track. Some people are good with one car maybe and not so good with another. So long as you keep it within the specified class I cannot see a problem.

OK I've just had a quick blast. If the times need updating copy and paste the below and update as necessary

Class C: Tsukuba = Cable 1:00.837 (In a Trueno)

Class A: Suzuka =

Class A: Nuburgring =

Class S: Maple Valley =

Standard supra: Nuburgring = Colsoop 9:33.078 (ABS + TCS, manual shifts no STM)

Standard supra: Nuburgring = Jive 9:20.683 (ABS on - TCS & STM off - auto)

I've got at least another 20 secs to knock off of that due to penaltys :)
