Getrag Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 I took a little Turtlewax T-cut to the lights and they had a good effect. Not as good as putting them in the oven but very easy. Had fantastic results, hardly dim at all now and have put off the idea of glass ones for a while at least. Gaz. P.S Getrag where is that bonnet from. garetheves Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 I just used ordinary Turtle Wax T-Cut. The yellow stuff that stinks like Brass cleaner. Worked a treat. Hard work like. need to rub really hard to get results but well worth it and far cheaper than a set of glass ones. (although admittedly still not quite as nice). It's meant to be the biz, for moulded or thermoformed plastics, cost about £8 for 100ml and even has a NATO stock number 7930-99-224-2028. ....Results don't seem that different from the T-Cut though (and I had to wet&dry the lenses first)! Getrag Posted January 6, 2005 Author Share Posted January 6, 2005 Sorry, guys, havent been on in a couple of days. I just used the Turtlewax T-cut, got it in halfrauds. Just washed the light, rubbed it on with an old, clean rag then washed it off. I didnt use any kind of polish but it did cross my mind.
