Getrag
I took a little Turtlewax T-cut to the lights and they had a good effect. Not as good as putting them in the oven but very easy. In the picture below, I t-cutted the right one and the left one is as normal. http://www.urbanracing.co.uk/events/su020105/021.jpg
Tom
A noticeable difference, I might have to do the same. Btw I saw yours on autotrader, apparently it was only 15 miles away from me so that must have been a heck of a long drive back!

Getrag
Tom, it was one hell of a drive lol. Gave me loads of time to get used to it though. The tcut makes sense as a nice easy quick fix.
terribleturner
That looks good. Did you use T-Cuts Scratch remover?? or something else??
npotts
I am also interested in what you used. I read on the back of a T-cut bottle that it should not be used on plastics!! I must have been looking at the wrong stuff..... What exactly did you use for the cleaning mate? Nick
hogmaw
What's it like driving on snow & ice?
Pete
I'm not sure it counts as 'driving'

garetheves
I was about to buy myself a set of uk glass headlights as mine were as yellow as yellow snow until i heard about the T-cut a few months ago. Had fantastic results, hardly dim at all now and have put off the idea of glass ones for a while at least. Gaz. P.S Getrag where is that bonnet from. Sh*t hot, i want one
Stu_Fraser
I tried T-cut on my old j-spec lights, did make a small difference i must admit....... Still had to go out and buy UK spec ones in the end though.

garetheves
I just used ordinary Turtle Wax T-Cut. The yellow stuff that stinks like Brass cleaner. Worked a treat. Hard work like. need to rub really hard to get results but well worth it and far cheaper than a set of glass ones. (although admittedly still not quite as nice). weinelm
I used some "Greygate Plastic Polish", which somebody gave me. It's meant to be the biz, for moulded or thermoformed plastics, cost about £8 for 100ml and even has a NATO stock number 7930-99-224-2028. ....Results don't seem that different from the T-Cut though (and I had to wet&dry the lenses first)! Getrag
Sorry, guys, havent been on in a couple of days. I just used the Turtlewax T-cut, got it in halfrauds. Just washed the light, rubbed it on with an old, clean rag then washed it off. I didnt use any kind of polish but it did cross my mind. The bonnet is fibreglass Ab-flug, I'm quite happy with it too
