ivan
The cone area is 4". Outside diameter is 4.6" including the foam padding. The mounting holes are in a triangle. HTH

Ady
Well. what joy i had yesterday. I took my door cards off, to find theat the prev owner had already upgraded them to the 6.5" - he didnt bother with brackets thow, he just butchered the standard mounts. The poor quality was aobvious as the driver side had a nice tear in the speaker. Also it had one vibe and one sony make. Ive replaced them both now with new 6.5" alpines. Sound quality is 100 times better. Had to take my 4" ones back today, so I think im going to leave the rear ones as they are. Whats the saying ''if it aint broke, dont try to fix it''
