help needed asap front shock removal

Got a freind of mine changing my front shox/springs..all of them done no problem but the passenger side front he's having problems...he saying that the bolt is hitting the aircon pipes when trying to remove...hes got the washerbottle etc out of the way,and the innerwheel arch out etc,but cant get the bolt out due to it hitting the aircon pipes???anyone had this problem?

The large bolts both slide out differently i.e one towards the back of the car and one towards the front. The one that slides towards the front needs to have the arch lining removed but thats about it. Maybe the remaining bolt was put in from the wrong side at some point (cant think why though)

each side took me about a hour plus an extra 10 mins to cut the drop links that had seized.

i took my top wishbone bolt out to move the wishbone out of the way because my spring clamps were getting in the way,i had two clamps one either side of the spring and they were in the way of the wisbone

The top wishbone pivot bolt is one long bolt that slides out to the front of the car, not two bolts. You WERE referring to this top wishbone pivot bolt, weren't you?
