carl0s
Went out for a fly today with my Raptor 90 & mate took a few pic's with my camera flying See link below: Me & my Raptor 90 Big is definitely so much better. I'd love a 90 sized bird that didn't need expensive parts and wasn't noisy I wish I could fly like you too
Aero-M
had my first lesson yesterday with the nitro., wow it really is a lot of fun. the instructor used a buddy box which must of saved me from at least 10 crashes:innocent:, towards the end of the lesson i got it hovering not to badly, hes going to train me to take my A exam, then i should be able to fly on my own. SupraStar 3000
what model is that Ed? im thinking of starting this up. could you recommend a beginners one? Hi mate, Thats a modified esky KingII with a MD500 fuselage. For beginners, I would go for something simular to this. Easy, spares available everywhere and good value. IMHO The top three to look for would be: Esky KingII / Esky Beltcp / Align 450V2
Trig
cool, is yours electric? do you think electric may be better for a beginer and then maybe go for nitro?
SupraStar 3000
I'd go elecric mate. Save the nitro/petrol larger models for when you can fly and ready for the next stage.
Trig
sounds good. can you recommend a place to get one? ive had a quick look on ebay and theres a lot of bits on there!
SupraStar 3000
heliguy.com or buzzflyer.com which is where I buy my spares from. Ebay has a few but you take a risk. You might end up with a jap radio version which is illegal here. 2nd hand UK might be worth a look. Just ordered another BeltCp for another scale fuselage with working landing gear.
