Guest sunnyG83
Mate Miele and Bosch are both very good brands and are backed up by there warranty's. But the only thing i do say is that they both still use the stanard idea and mechanism by this i mean Brushes, pulley, belt drive, But LG use a system caled Direct-Drive whch replaces all these moving parts and uses an electro magnet to spin the drum around. Go ino one of the stores like Currs,Comet etc and spin the drum on a miele and then do the same with the LG and you will see that there is hardly any resistence on the LG. Because the LG has the DD-System it also means that the drum size and loading is increaesed and it also makes it a very Quiet machine. LG's come with a 3 year warranty if im not mistaken also. Plus i think some of them look alot cooler than the Miele also.

Havard
Thanks for the help there guys! Been away for the weekend and we now have a massive pile of washing! Going out today to make a purchase, hopefully do a bit of haggling!! Managed to get £50 knocked off our last one after telling Curry's that Comet had the same one cheaper, when they actually didn't LOL!!! H. Snooze
Definitely Bosch. Our Whirlpool gave up earlier this year and I asked the same question to work mates, on the internet, to a couple of plumbers I knew. Every single one of them recommended Bosch. Couldn't believe it. We bought a Bosch and it's all good - early days at the moment for it of course.
Havard
Well I must have killed a priest in a previous life! Bought a new Bosch machine on Monday, had it delivered today. Plumbed it in tonight and sent it through it's test cycle! Lasted 27 minutes before it pi$$ed water all over my kitchen floor. There is obviously a pipe not connected properly within the machine. I was going to open it up but worried about ruining the warranty! Somebody at either Curry's or Bosch is going to have sore ears tomorrow. Still got a huge pile of washing and now a wet floor!! H. dangerous brain
Funny I had this with a washing machine out of warranty and it went under my laminate floor (the water that is) and warped it all in two rooms (kitchen then into the dining room) so my household insurance paid for new laminate.
