Carl_S
nice one carl, another interesting thing is they way the woman on the phone at the insurance company asked me three times if i was injured or if i was aching. i would think she would of tryed to persued me to sue Interesting. Lesser people would have complained of twitches and bullshitted to get more money. Looks likes you got off fairly lightly this time. I always make sure I check my blind spots for bikers, but just after I passed my test I almost hit one becuase I didnt check. Bikers and cyclists are so vunerable. Lesser people would have complained of twitches and bullshitted to get more money. i dont really agree with sueing, unless you lose a limb or similar that would actually hinder daily life, i know three people that were in a car crash and they are all sueing for whiplash and none of them have actually got it

They get a flat rate as far as I know but get bonus for every PI that goes through. It's not in any company material but advised for you to put a bit pressure on when asking if anyone was hurt
