Blackie
i am not hurt in anyway. I was sat about six feet away for this white van in a cue of trafic on my motorbike and his reverse lights come on, he started backing up to me so i was pressing the horn like a twat he didnt hear it and the van went in to my front wheel which dropped it to the floor. i got out the way sharpish banging on the van and he still kept backing over it! i ended up opening the van door and tryed dragging him out (turns out the seat belt is stronger than me). we went to the back of the van and the bike was half way under it, i asked him (in a way) to help me get it out. i then got his number to call later and he drove off, i then notice four of my mates out side a garage they work at, nice amount of independant witnesses. i rang him and he said the company insurance will be sorting it and advised me to clame as much as i could, its a funny one as i was "wearing" my brothers £500 ari lid when it happen, which allready had a small chip in from where he highsided and theres not a shit load of damage because of the type of bike (supermoto) but it would of been expensive if i still had my sports bike. he also took full responibilty, which was nice P.s the whole dragging him out the van is very very out of character for me
p111ddy
Glad you're ok mate & that he's also admitted full responibilty. Hopefully you can get what you deserve from it
Chewie
I question your road position. You should've been as far right so that you can see his face in his door mirror and he can see you. Plus it would've given you room to move off to the right if/when he reversed. If you were dead centre behind him, he wouldn't have seen you. Chewie
Not having a pop at you mate, but this has happened to me loads and experience has taught me that I sit virtually inline with his door mirror and let him have it some with the headlight. What bike you got or had? A KTM or Aprilia?

I'd agree with that (currently recovering from a knee op, the result of hitting the back of a van nearly 30 years ago:)).

Chewie
With the Arrow zorst half the street would've heard and felt you and that colour scheme is well lairy. He's guilty as sin. I recently had a go on a KTM Superduke but I'm heading towards something like a 1050 Speed Triple or an Aprilia Tuono. The new Honda CB1000R looks interesting though.
