michael Posted January 30, 2009 Share Posted January 30, 2009 No success at all, I've tried 2, neither were up to the job - you need to spend a fair bit to get one that is IMO. I went for a trickle charger that plugs into the mains in the end, much better and can be used on the car while it's outside, just a plug in the intake to remove in order to disconnect and away you go. I will hard wire my battery charger from my garage on to the drive and do a plug and play style connection like michael did. SUPRA-JDB Posted January 30, 2009 Share Posted January 30, 2009 i bought the next moddel up from the £9.99 one in maplins. . i used the battery crocodile clips and put on the window of garage.it seemed to work fine with no problems on my alarm or going flat. it also says on box normall daylight is ok. dosent need direct sunight. . . .worked for me.
