  1. Happy b,day, congrats on the car!!! might see you round sometime, just moved to this neck of the woods. As previously stated....take it easy in the wet, even with the best of tyres it can be very unforgiving
  2. dont you people know how to cut and paste Sorry couldn't resist!!!
  3. Filled up at shell @99.9p on saturday, cos the cheap sul at sainsbury's was out of order, so on saturday i put £50 quid in, was gonna fill it up but watchin the litres clocking at the same speed as the price i ended it early. So tonight on the way home from work i thought i'll top up the rest of the tank at my nice and cheap 94.9p sainsbury's, it took me 35-40 mins to get fuel, sad but true...once i'd started queing i didn't wanna leave. Even sadder loving it cos sainsbury's is cheap at 94.9p Panic buying has set in, driving back to visit family this w.end, do i get my jerry cans out of the shed and fill em up???
  4. Pretty sure you have to find out within 14 days, mine took 8, got caught friday night, found out a week saturday after
  5. 1x Liquid Chrome front (without horns) 1x Liquid Chrome rear (WITH horns) 1x Liquid Chrome Supra badge. regards Mike.
  6. Hi Gaz, where did you get the plate from, i'm thinking of changing mine, looked at your sig and i reckon it looks a lot better! i,ve been considering this for a while now
  7. Mirrors are either heated or fold in, yours are obviously fold in
  8. Not a clue expected sp30, certainly didnt expect to do a bit of bird! maybe class one will clarify, i thought i got sp 60 because the speed limit had been changed from 70 to 50 due to roadworks??? sp60 = undefined speed limit, thats what it says when you put it down on online insurance!!!
  9. I got 3 pts sp60, last year for doing 62 in a temporary 50 at 7.30pm. it was dark, only me and another car on the road, no motorway maintenance people in sight, and a couple of sneaky coppers with no car, just a mobile mini gatso, sat on the hard shoulder, catching people as they go bye :thumbdown Bar stewards!!!
  10. I used to live in Hull, though have recently moved, though i am returning for a w.end soon... Dazsir, C5 sup, and The Hornet, all live in Hull, i'm sure one of them would be happy to act as an extra set of eyes and give words of advice. The Hornet has sold his supra recently; so i'm not sure if he is still chatting on the forum??? Good luck
  11. Mine dosn't work either didn't get a cig lighter in it, though have tried running my phone charger from it and it doesn't work??? Sorry not much help to you, but i just wanted a quick grumble!
  12. Two parrots sat on a PERCH , one says to the other one....."can you smell fish?"
  13. Never really knew sainsburys did sul, so i popped along to my local one today and found sul @ 92.9p  cheaper than the usual 95.9p from shell and bp, i know what i'll be using from now on
  14. Yeah you need a outside tap!!! why don't ya get one plummed in??? surely only cost about £50, you'll save that on washes at petrol stations in 6 month!! there's a pressure washer at wickes half price for £24.99 iirc, can't beat using your own px washer, no time limits etc!!!
  15. I like the auto fold down mirror option he's added!!!
  16. just moved to a NTL house, have ntl phone and BB package with sky tv!! suits me!!!! didn't want ntl t.v. cos i couldn't be arised to learn the new channels, as they have different channel no's to sky, and having had sky for 3 years i pretty much know all my fave channels... sad but true!!!
  17. Watching used car roadshow on men and motors yesterday, and the presenter was talking about a Toyota Yaris, whilst in the background/over his shoulder you could see a black Supra with multi spoke alloys (about 10/12 spokes) i think it was a j-spec, and it was filmed at a car show in peterborough, probably this year!! Anyone?????
  18. AA DO COVER 1993 CARS ABROAD!!! I've just returned from France and the AA covered me for 5 days at a cost of £72. I think it cost £32 supplement due to my car being over 11 y.o. The cover is quite good though, will give a courtesy car, pay for hotels, return flights e.t.c. luckily didn't need it but it's peace of mind!!!
  19. The reason your quote is now £2100, is because your original quote a year ago will of been an introductory offer. Admiral own elephant. Ensure you don't have aa cover e.t.c as previously mentioned, i told them i already had it and when my paperwork came through i'd paid £80 for it and had to cancel it and get my money back!!! you can get moneyback for moving to a nicer area... im moving house on friday and therefore rung elephant yesterday, they informed me i was getting £136 rebate, even though it's gone from being currently garaged to being parked on a drive!
  20. D'OH!!! You posted them both
  21. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=45505 by about 2 mins:lol:
