  1. Not sure if it's just me, but when i read about these little discussions of optimax being better/ultimate being better, or sul from supermarkets being better....... i can honestly say i cannot tell the difference between them all. I'm not wanting to start a over which is better, i just wanted to know who CAN actually tell the difference and how???? Could you tell if someone was to fill your car up and give it back to you without telling you what they put in? I've also put in 95ron probably twice in the 6 1/2 months i've owned it and even though it was just a small amount to get me by and i didn't really go over about 3000 rpm, i still didn't notice any difference???
  2. You'd also have to place a sticker warning ppl not to look through the windows due to getting blinded!!
  3. My mate thought he saw me and flased in his Renault artic lorry, A34 southbound close to winchester, approx 6pm tonight! anyone on here????
  4. That sounds great, if i get plenty of notice....i can definitely make it
  5. Sorry to hear about this. I think the venture of going in to mobile valeting is the way ahead..... i'd rather get my car valeted whilst i'm at work, or have someone come round the house to do it. I think a lot of ppl would rather it be this way! Another positive for the customer is being in the knowledge their car isn't getting used for the sandwich run at dinnertime e.t.c. whilst in the hands of a static valet garage, (must cross some ppl's minds!) With your contacts and customers you've built up it's well worth a mulling over, it'd be nice to close down the static business and to pass on your new mobile static venture to current customers. Best of luck
  6. I'm away visiting family that w.end, unfortunately i'm away the next 3 w.ends. Not all doom and gloom though cos i'm off for a lads w.end at newquay this w.end
  7. Not really, though it wouldn't be a problem getting there, it's not far... would definitely be up for a mini meet, though i'm busy the next 3 w.ends, but if any go ahead give me a shout!
  8. i reckon your pump is leaking, check your fluid rapid.
  9. Didn't realise there was so many supe's so close, only lived her 4 weeks and i haven't seen one!!!
  10. so many different theorems on these indicators!!!! As for the headlights, i know they're easy to change, as i cleaned up my current ones, though i obviously didn't seal them properly hence the steaming up, D'oh!!! :thumbdown. Not sure if toyota would knock the price down due to them not fitting, especially as im getting them for the wrong price anyway....£160+ cheaper.
  11. Well bit of a story, went into mr T's for a service and he commented on my headlights been steamed up and said i should get them replaced at a cost of £325.00 inc fitting, at the time i left it, though after a few weeks i thought.... well i want glass lights anyway. So i rung back and checked the price.....this time it was £488.00!!! inc fitting, so i said i've got my service certificate with a quote of £325.00, so they said "oh well if thats what we quoted ya, thats what we'll have to sell you them for" I know its not hard fitting the lights but it'll save me a job
  12. Sounds great Nic, though i'm getting uk glass headlights fitted on the 8th october and would really require them by then, not sure on how long they would take to receive from Hong Kong???
  13. Are these the clear FRONT indicators for £48, not the side.... whose that from mr T?? and do they come with bulbs?
  14. Hi peeps, just wondering if anyone has fitted http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/97-98-Toyota-Supra-Crystal-Clear-Bumper-Indicators_W0QQitemZ8001170686QQcategoryZ14763QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem these before??? i know people have said don't bother with the uk dealer on ebay due to no looms with the kit e.t.c. though i quite fancy putting U.S. spec ones on that are totally clear (without the orange bit) just wondered if it would mean a lot of messing about or would it be a straight forward swap?? also it states they're for a 97-98 vvti, mines a 93, so is it looking unpromising??? If so where d'ya recommend i get clear front and side repeaters from and roughly how much would they cost??? Thanks in advance
  15. Hi Liam, if you end up short of the gold, i'm gonna be selling my current gold badges once my liquid ones arrive, probably asking for about £15 the pair or £10 each, i have one front and one rear toyota badge, just as an option
  16. Yeah my local shell is still 99.9p which i've just had to use, because yet again theres no sul at sainsbury's. Sounds good at sainsbury's 91.9p.....but they've never got any!!!!!!!
  17. wouldn,t bother IMHO, ordered tyres from them about 5 weeks ago, only to find they end up getting nicked in the postage Had to sign a form stating i hadn't received them and send it off to Germany (mytyres.co.UK ) And had to wait for my refund. Fair play they are very cheap, though i was unlucky with my order :thumbdown
  18. Been there, done that, worn the red face!!!! Ended up getting my blackjax turned off in the end, great idea, pita if your taking your car in to a garage or forget to put the code in!!! Oh how embarassing to be in the city centre with your alarm bellowing 4 sirens in 1, indicators and brake lights flashing and everyone giving you the "what a muppet" look.
  19. Like when his wife says "who is it???" he replies "Its Mike at picture!" like it's his best mate, WHAT A GIMP!!! Can't remember if it's the same one,you borrow 25k over about 2 centuries....and you repay 42k back!! Yeah sign me up please NOT!
