  1. You need to use the car in MANU mode more often, this eliminates the above that you are concerned about:trust: Your car will handle the same as a manual, you can come steaming into a bend on a country road (o/d off & Manu selected) in 3rd, then knock it in to 2nd just going into the bend.....and stick the power back on; on the way out:trophy: Using the manu mode will ensure you stay in the same gear until YOU decide to change, give it a whirl:stickpoke
  2. Iclosed down about 5 year ago, it's just opened as somet els!!!
  3. You'll be like a kid in a sweet shop, had my remote start over 6 months and i still love frightening ppl stood next to the car, especially as the clifford has an operating distance of about 200+ ft!!! If its the clifford one too, you can press the remote start button (the little star)(with engine running) prior to switching off the ignition by key, and it'll leave the car running until you press the same button again, bit like a poor mans turbo timer:yes:
  4. This should help you out Gaz http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=48276&highlight=east+mids+meet Keep an eye on it nearer the time:ecstatic:
  5. I had a vectra 2.5 V6 when i was 21, loved it. Theres nothing wrong with them, most VX are good reliable cars, You go getta Soop, you'll love it, except for the vast loss in boot space....but i can think of 000's of reasons that'll not bother you:clap:
  6. Hi and Welcome, nice motor, you'll have to get yourself to the east mids meet, 6th november @ Notts.

  8. Probably gonna end this tomorrow evening.... So far: Headlights are at an offer of £50.00 by Rik. Side repeaters are at an offer of £3.00 by Fayes brother. Lovely orange blob indicators £0.00, come on you know you want them!!!!
  9. Sorry in advance for the:hijack: :hijack: My heating is remaining cold, irrelevant of the climate knob's position. Obviously not bothered me over the summer months, though, it's getting a bit chillier in the morning on the way to work. I've flushed through the heater matrix with the grden hose, and it was relatively clean, the only thing i can think of is the air mix flap is sticking in one position???? what d'ya reckon, and if so....is it easy to get to/free off??? sorry for the hi-jack:whistle:
  10. Gleaming black, outside the dysart rd shop, i flashed to let you pull out, approx 1800 hrs.
  11. Why don't you ask liam lovatt if he can get hold of anymore badges, he's just done a group buy, i gotta liquid silver set of badges (front, back, supra) £15.00 each. I then sold my old gold ones (front and back) on ebay to a mr2 owner for £30.00:clap: So it only cost me £15.00 for my additional supra badge to do a complete badge change:OK:
  12. Bought them from Gaz Walker (trader) on here (Envy) They're oem and cost £100 inc vat and delivery, they're the full kit inc associated wiring and c/w bulbs, easy to fit (took me less than an hour; start to finish) The kit is complete so you don't have to fish around for other bits of loom or try and make things fit, it's a pretty much one for one swap. click here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=31633&highlight=indicators+fitting for a good comprehensive how to guide.
  13. My sister has one of these, she's never had a problem with it.
  14. And a fuel cut defender (FCD) in case you hit fuel cut.
  15. Thanks for the offer, i'll keep it in mind, and if its the highest in about a weeks time, there yours!!
