  1. Not too sure, tinkered about with previous cars, though dont fancy messing with this baby. hopefully gonna get this job done at slow dogs, along with cambelt and service, cheers for all the help evry1!! Im sure some1 will point you in the right direction as to the location of the "cc" ecu.
  2. Yeah, i've been there before on a days rally course in whitchurch!! great fun.
  3. Looks great, though could do with somewhere a little closer, whitchurch is 150 miles away, cheers.
  4. Having just bought my soop, not sure on where to get it serviced in Hull? read a few threads under servicing about dealers! not sure whether to let toyota touch my car or try to find a jap specialist that deals with these cars on a regular basis and isn't interested in being a test pilot with a soop instead of a yaris!!!! My cars done 530000m, so its due for its belt in 10k, also i didn't get any SH as it's a j-spec, so need to find a decent garage to carry out the work, any ideas would be greatly appreciated, cheers
  5. I,ve gotta converter fitted cause it reads in mph and odo goes up in miles, if it's a cheapy one, (which knowing what dealers are like to make a few extra quid) would that limit the cruise to 70 mph, i first thought it was maybe rectricted on the ecu????
  6. It works fine below 70mph, so bit confused?????
  7. It wont let me set the speed to engage the cruise at 70+mph, i.e. press cruise on and set at 90mph, nothing happens! well annoying:-)
  8. Hi, just joined the club, this is my cherry popping post! I bought my 93 tt j-spec about 4 weeks ago through a jap importer in hemel hempstead, they do all the uk conversions etc... I spend a fair bit of time on the motorway and my cruise seems to only work up to 70 mph?? i know you shouldn't be driving over this speed but hey im only human, just wondered if they're limited as standard in japan, and if you can get it removed. Cheers
