5 spokes are refurbished and fitted with new center caps Think I've talked myself out of fitting spacers to pull the wheels flush. Snow foamed the sand off it and its washed up quite nicely

First wash since doing the wheels, it didn't take much effort to clean them but I still needed to get my wheel brush inside using wash n wax and sponge over the outside

That sounds very impressive to last that long. Mine are on now so we'll see how well the Turtle Wax stuff lasts

Contact Paul at Whifbitz, they used to have one you could download and then cut out the template to try in your wheel

Isn't there a template on here you can copy and use to see if your wheels clear certain calipers ? I could be wrong but worth a look

Get it on a ramp and check the fuel system from front to rear is the only advice I can give

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm going to give the Turtle wax a try, never bothered on wheels before so we'll see how well it performs. I'm on a tight schedule as the wheels get fitted at 2pm Monday, I found the turtle wax on Amazon and arrives today so I can do the whole of the wheel inside and out before fitting

What are you guys using ? Been told this is really good Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Graphene Flex Wax My refurbished wheels get fitted on Monday afternoon so was thinking I'd give them the once over before they go on

Good to hear from you Chris, I shall be fitting the genuine AMG's I bought now, they're off to be refurbished tomorrow. Just been to the shop to check the process out they use and glad to say all looks good, they mask off the hub face and spigot bore and the wheel bolt cones. Just got to carefully squeeze 4 18" alloys in my 2 seat hairdressers toy
