  1. Was the car running OK before you changed the injectors/pump/resistor? If it was then surely its going something to do with the parts you fitted?
  2. Hasn't Chris got any ideas? Was it alright before you changed the injectors?
  3. I wouldn't just work on the assumption of leaning off 25% across the board, you *must* get an WB AFR on there and tune it, otherwise it runs way to rich, I found this out myself, it was off the scale!! I had an FSE valve go on me, that was just cutting out under boost, I stuck the std one back on and it was fine again. I got a new replacement one sent to me, its sitting here brand new in the box if anyone wants it? Bit hard to say what the problem is without seeing the car in the flesh.
  4. It will be to rich, I've got my S-AFC leaned off about 25% at 1000rpm on low throttle setting of 16% and that ticks over nice. Without this it wouldn't idle properly, kept on cutting out. With these 550cc injectors fitted you really do need to get a wide band afr on there to set it up as it runs wayyyyyy to rich on full throttle. Or of course one of my mappable ECU's which will be out Very soon. Anyway, sounds like something else is up with it if you've taken out 50%.
  5. Will be a similar one coming along soon at about half the price.....watch this space.
  6. 2 piece yep with bells. No problem cooling them with proper ducting.
  7. I'm going along next week some time to take measurements. The 330mm kits should only be a couple of weeks and the 356mm kits not long after. Might be doing a monster conversion, depends on how big I can get under my 19's.
  8. Yes i am bunging it in the next few days or so before I go, can't wait to get it tuned in properly at last. I'm only going to use it for tuning and track days so I wont be mounting it properly.
  9. Never had the problem either, done plenty of track days with UK front and Jap rears. As long as you matched front and rear pads it should be fine. Anyone interested in buying 6 pot big brakes from myself?I'm about to have 2 different kits made, 330mm and 356mm and may be a 380mm kit depending on whether i can get them under my wheels or not. The front kits will sell for around £1200 and these included AP discs, 6 pot billet alluminium calipers, pads, bells, braided hoses, etc. Paul
  10. I've got an FJO myself Nic, haven't plumbed it in yet though. Will be very soon as I'm off to the rollers week after next to get my new ECU mapped.
  11. Hi all, I'm going to have an upgraded brake kit made for the Supra in the near future. I just want to get some sort of idea what size wheels you would generally like these to fit under? If it comes to it I will have 2 different sizes available, probably a 330mm and a 356mm kit, both with 6 pot alloy calipers using AP discs. Any interest in this? Price will be around £1200 + vat mark roughly. Regards Paul
  12. I'm working on getting some pillar pods at the moment, I'll let you all know when I do of course. Also I think from memory the gauge pods for the upper glove box are around £200 approx. Paul
  13. Well I sell the JZA80 TT kit for £145 plus delivery and VAT so I would have thought the JZA70 would be around the same price. Takes about a week to get one. Let me know if you need one. Cheers Paul
  14. It is a modified std ECU.
  15. Glad you mentioned that Alex, I should be going along to the rollers either towards the end of this week coming or the following week with my new fully mappable plug in ECU, should sort a few headaches out for certain people, rough cost should be around £900 - £1000 approx. (not sure yet)exchange plus mapping, although there will be a base map based on my car or a standard car. It will be available for auto and manual, Jap and UK specs and sometime in the future VVTi's as well. I will of course keep you all informed to the progress when I know more.
  16. I can supply either Apexi or ARC. I've got an Apexi filter on its way for my car as we speak and I'm going to have a carbon box made to enclose it. ARC are suppose to be very good indeed, expensive though at about £250.
  17. I can do a replacement Nippon pump for £106.20 + del & Vat. If your interested in the Walbro's I'll find out for you.
  18. RPS, Centreforce, etc recommend that the flywheel is faced off when the clutch is being changed. The RPS clutch is not grabby at all, it uses a std plate so it drives like a std clutch, just a bit heavier. They also do a carbon 6 puck plate for the big power Supra's. Stage 2 clutch is more than up to the job of BPU++.
  19. Yep, they are clear with an orange section for the indicator part, they look soooo much better than the earlier type, really clean the front up. For brake parts go to www.whifbitz.co.uk/suprabrakes.htm to see prices, let me know which ones you are interested in. Regards Paul
  20. Yep get a nice Walbro jobby in there, thats the one to have.
  21. I can supply RPS clutches from the USA which is apparently the exact same clutch as TRD sells and wacks a big price tag on. Price for the stage 2 clutch is £411 + UK delivery and VAT and takes about a week to get roughly. This uses a std clutch disc and uprated pressure plate. I use this in my modded Supra and it works a treat, I've sold quite a few recently and all are happy with them, they drive like a standard clutch as well apart from a slight increase in pedal weight. Give us a shout if you need one or need anymore info Cheers Paul
  22. Have you ever had an alloy rad priced up? There bloody expensive over here, don't know how Fluidyne sell them at the price they do.
  23. Yes very easy to do although the auto rad is different to the manual rad and Fluidyne only do one to suit the manual. I'm pretty sure it will fit though as Leon has one on his auto, don't know what you have to do, I think its something to do with an rad or oil cooler built in for the gearbox???
  24. And if anyone wants them I sell them for £90 a pair plus delivery and VAT. Definately improve the look of the car.
  25. I can supply the Fluidynes for £450 + UK delivery & VAT. Go to www.whifbitz.co.uk/supracooling.htm to see a picture. Definately helped with cooling on my car, its a necessity when you do track days with an FMIC fitted. Looks the nuts as well. Cheers Paul
