  1. My car goes through a battery every year, had the car 3 years now and 3 batteries, just fitted a new one a couple of days ago, god knows why.
  2. 9x19 and 10x19 go straight on without mods to the arches, thats what I have now, if you need any prices on any Jap wheels give me a shout, I can do some very good prices, I think I saved u about £1000 didn't I B3any?
  3. I'll be up for that, should be able to get a couple others together if needed as well. E-mail me with details if poss Johnathan. Paul
  4. Just use an RPX max series with street disc, no need for anything else, thats what I have use for the last 20,000 miles, still no slip whatsoever with the single turbo on, very impressive if you ask me. Drives like a standard clutch, just a bit heavier. If you want one Randy let me know as I can arrange it for you.
  5. Stick talekum(dont know how to spell it) powder on it, that always works, makes it smell nice to.
  6. Nah, nothing wrong with me motor dont you worry. I've had the light ever since installing the AEM EMS, got get the thing turned off, its pissin me off. Dont think Toyota could help much....
  7. Thought so, Ta Crap camera me thinks.
  8. Anyone know from the picture what the far right warning light on the dash is for?
  9. Not yet, its litterally just been released on the latest software upgrade so I haven't tried it yet. Can't because my laptop blew up and its in being repaired! Yep, wheel spin can be a bugger but then it is a tad slippery out there at the moment, when its wet just forget it.
  10. Yep, another map would be needed, wouldn't be massively different though, the main problem I had with the AEM was that I had to start from scratch, now I have a decent map its easy. Its on a case of changing the fuel and ignition map to suit, save on it on a lap top and then I can upload different maps for different turbo's, fuels, etc. Next thing I must do is a map for high octane fuel to see what a difference some jungle juice makes. Should see confortabe over the 600 mark me thinks. Trouble is I can't put the power down as it is, in the dry spins up all the way through 2nd and a some of 3rd so why do I need more power? I just get bored to easily I think.
  11. I know what it is but I'm not going to tell you either.
  12. Correctamundo. thats why I didn't go for the HKS twins, I want useable power, dont want to be sitting there waiting around for the turbos to start working. I do a lot of track days as well so I wanted something that hasn't got a 2000 rpm powerband. I think I might be getting a big turbo to bolt on for different events though, it only takes around 1/2 hour to change a turbo over on my setup now. So I can have a small turbo(what I've got now) for track days/road use and a large one for the straight line stuff.
  13. What did it put out with normal fuel just as a comparison mate?
  14. Well here's mine, I've attached a rolling road print out as well. 428 at the wheels which is around 520ish and 532lbft torque, still needs a bit of fine tuning though to get some more bhp.
  15. Thats what I use in my car now, can't remember the exact price but there pretty similar over here.
  16. Go for a Powerhouse Racing kit, top quality with all the bits required included, I've got the stage 1 which is the smallest available and lag is minimal, perfect for an auto.
  17. Think they've got a wideband they stick up the rear end, didn't really take to much notice as I've got one on mine permanent. Bloody good place though, top quality RR that one, best I've been to..
  18. I've got one of those caps with the hole in it, I stick it in for the SVA and then remove it afterwards, much easier and cheaper for me that way.
  19. I'm pretty sure if its pre-96 you dont need one fitted. Can't remember if it was pre95 or 96, one of the 2.
  20. It worked pretty good for me when I had it on my car, obviously no where near as good as a replacement ECU but for basics adjustments its fine. You will need to get a wideband AFR meter on there to setup it up properly though. Your car will run just a tad rich with 650cc inj's in there yes.
  21. 18psi off the top of my head.
  22. That bumper on Dils car is one of my Retaliator bumpers, its a Do-Luck replica. The same but a lot cheaper. Cheers Paul
  23. Just go around checking everything is tight with a large bar, need a ramp really to get enough leverage on it though. That normally is the problem.
