  1. Well it must be possible with the power us 3 are putting out now, looks like the Supra's should put on a good show this year. Not forgetting the CRD mean machine, had a bit of nose round that today, that T51 turbo on that thing is a bit on large side!
  2. Thanks. Yep, I was trying to get some inside info on his car today, sounds like a bit of a beast that one. I'm not personally going there to win, just wanna give my car some serious abuse, think I might trailer it up this year. Did you go pod on Saturday in the end?
  3. Cheers, all the hard work is starting to pay off at last, its been one niggly problem after another this year, hardly used the car, hopefully I've got it sorted now.
  4. I have a few things to try out at the weekend, my goal this time out is to get in the 10's, just gotta get the power to floor. Ran out of time(as usual) to get the bits tried and tested so it will be a bit of a test session, I will of course try my hardest as always.
  5. Just got back from Thor, my car made: 811bhp & 642lbft torque on BP ultimate 1.7 bar boost 921bhp & 714lbft torque on high octane fuel 2.2 bar boost Flywheel figures using 20% drivetrain loss. Could have gone for some more boost but thought I'd better leave it at that, dont want to blow it apart before the weekend! Midrange power gains with the high octane fuel is huge. Full boost by 4400rpm, peak torque kicks in at 4700rpm, fantastic power band, response and driveable. All prepared by myself, mapped by Pat the mapper! I'm off to think of what I can do to it next!
  6. Tried emailing them there but no answer, O well never mind
  7. Anyone got contact details for them? Was going to the pod tomorrow but cant now as a few bits didn't arrive for my car. The message left on my phone when walk about so haven't got a number, anyone?
  8. I'm in Enfield, North London, if you need anything done let me know. Cheers Paul
  9. Sell loads of them on ebay actually. They dont all go through ebay though, good place to advertise...
  10. There's nothing more enjoyable at the track days I do than wooping some Ferrari metal. F40's are easy meat, 360's look like there going backwards! I'd be up for it though of course. I've got a message on my mobile from last week to ring them, been up Scotland watching the Golf for the last week.
  11. Very good indeed yep, there are a couple of great drifting bends if you want to get lairy.
  12. I'll let you know what its like, I'll try and get some video clips as well if poss.
  13. I have a spare track day pass as someone's dropped out if anyone's interested?
  14. Yep, Supra's are meant to go round corners, there not all about drag racing, seems to be way everyone looks to be going lately, who's up for it?
  15. Anyone fancy a track day on July 9th? Its at Hullavington airfield near Castle Combe, £99 for the day. I tried this place out a couple of weeks ago in a Skyline and its definately the best airfield I've been to, track surface and layout are very good, can't wait to let the beast loose properly for the first time since around August. I'm booked in already along with a few mates, couple of liners and a stripped out track day prepped 300zx, should be a good day. Details can be found at http://www.motorsport-events.co.uk Cheers
  16. I did yes, I fitted it the day before and have never used it before properly so was experimenting with it, started off with it on along with launch control and then ended up turning it off and got the exact same time! Definately works well on the road, got to play around a bit more on the drag strip me thinks.
  17. Yeah I only look at my Supra, never drive it hard at all.
  18. I've fitted and mapped a few of these now to various cars, 200sx, Skyline R33(just got in from mapping it up the A10!) and my MRS turbo, cant beat the emanage on value for money thats for sure, I give it the thumbs up.
  19. Yeah, got to get a line lock on there! All a bit of a rush job getting the car done in time....
  20. I heard it was more than that, can't remember the exact figure, something like 210?
  21. Well done John, nice to meet you at last. My best of the day was 11.84 @ 131mph 2.058 60ft, can't get the thing to launch at all. I hit 133mph on one run so its definately got the power(on low boost) to get in the 10's. Good day out, better setup than Santa Pod I think.
  22. 97on cars have to meet a stricter emission test, before there was a loophole for SVA so they were exempt from this.
  23. Indeedy, I've heard of companies adding extra cats and still not being able to pass. The problem is if you need to add cats to it and mess around with the ECU to get the emissions correct to get a model report in the first place you then need to do the same mods every time you SVA a car so its exactly as it was for the model report. Adds a bit of cost and messing around that!
