  1. 1993 Toyota Supra twin turbo, manual 6 speed, 380bhp, 40,000 miles, silver, 17" SSR alloys, HKS coil overs, stainless exhaust, M&S air filter, genuine Toyota side and rear skirts, HID headlights, HKS boost controller, facelift indicators, facelift headlights, aircon, electric windows, superb condition, £10,300, some better pics to follow soon. http://www.whifbitz.co.uk/images/carsforsale/toyota/93 silver.jpg
  2. Sounds like the rad then, you'll soon know when its removed. Best off with Fluidyne rad with one of my oil cooler kits, they work wonders on my car!
  3. With a front mount it can happen even if your rad is perfectly fine, believe me I've done ALOT of track days over years, starting from when my car was more or less std up until its current state. I could hack round all day when I had a std intercooler, soon as I fitted a front mount temps starting going sky high after a lap or 2. The one thing that solved the problem was an oil cooler, after that I've had no problems. We still dont know if he has a front mount or not though! So it may be the rad yes.
  4. Have you got a front mount intercooler on the car?
  5. Next time I fit one I'll take some pics and hopefully a sound clip as well.
  6. Thought I'd let you all know that we fitted an HKS Silent Hi-power cat back exhaust today to a customer's non turbo Supra, superb exhaust this one as its not particularly noisy and its specifically made and designed for the non turbo. Its full stainless, smaller bore than the turbo exhausts & twin box, so for all you NA boys out there this the exhaust for you without a doubt, £485 + VAT.

  8. 1000cc mate. Its not the injectors though it looks like its my twin Walbro pumps not up to the job as my fuel pressure is dropping off, the higher the revs the less pressure I'm getting, by the time I'm hitting 8500rpm its running around 37psi of fuel pressure with the afr's around 13:1, not good. Gonna bolt another Walrbo in I think or may be a pair of big boy pumps, should sort it out. I hardly get the time to work on my own car these days, felt a bit strange to be mapping my own car for a change! Looks like I wont be fitting my carbon seats in tomorrow either as the frames wont be here until Tuesday now, never mind, be a good day anyway.
  9. Me to although we were out mapping my Supra last night and my fuel systems maxed out so I'll have to keep the boost down a bit!
  10. I keep rear wheel bearings in stock as we are do so many now, genuine Toyota £60 + VAT, I also keep the drive flange as well as these need changing 9 out of 10 times also. ta
  11. I run 1.9 bar on optimax, been doing so for around 4 years now with no probs, as Gaz says, as long as its setup correctly then you shouldn't have any problems, turn it up Ian!
  12. Dunno, prefer the bendy stuff myself, I better get my car mapped this week then!
  13. Oh bollocks, just re read it your post! Well done, thats some good figures there, we will have a good tear up on Sunday in that case!
  14. Hi Gaz, Is that at the wheels or fly?
  15. I'd go for abuse if there other work is anything to go by!
  16. I've done a few on Jap Supras without any problems apart from them running a bit rich on cold start, couldn't make it perfect even with the water temp correction feature on the Ultimate which is a bit basic in the great scheme of things.
  17. Never fitted one on a UK car, as far as I'm concerned they dont work, not at the moment anyway.
  18. Strange, I've done about 8 UK cars now approx and never had a problem. None are part of the club as far as I know. Have you tried another emanage unit? I had an Ultimate which had a fault with the ignition a month or so ago, could be a dodgy one you have.
  19. We've just completed a NA to TT conversion for a customer, we installed a complete UK spec TT engine and box, customer's bill came to £3200 inc the engine/basic service/labour. If you can find a decent engine this is definately the way to go in my view. Cheers Paul
  20. They work just the same as with a Jap spec car mate, just wire it up, configure it and it will start straight up and off you drive. No problems, only slight difference is the map sensor wiring. Ultimate is a different story
  21. If people think before they type then it wouldn't happen but thats just the way of the world it seems.
