  1. I absolutely love it, I'll be getting one for sure! I wonder how much it will be though?
  2. We've had them where there is no play at all, just clicking noises.
  3. Wheel bearings can make this sound John, could be that mate.
  4. No its different internally as well. - - - Updated - - - I've asked them many times and they cant do it, nobody can as far as I can see.
  5. Titan don't do a tiptronic uprated gearbox I'm afraid mate, nobody does from what I can tell!
  6. It's certainly will yes, we've run that size at 700bhp with no problems.
  7. I'm about to release my own set of adjustable anti roll bars chaps, these will be available January sometime. They are based on what we learnt from our Time Attack and racing days as we tried a few different setups back then. More info to come in January, best off liking our Facebook page to get instant updates and signing up to our newsletter.
  8. That would cost a lot of money unfortunately, a lot more than a V160. I would have thought the best bet would be to use a gearbox from another car, like a 350Z for instance, these handle 600bhp no problem and are readily available. A conversion kit would have to be manufactured of course.
  9. Not really as I know there is a gap that needs filling between standard turbos and single turbo, this "should" hopefully do the trick!
  10. No updates as yet guys, as soon as they are ready I will be updating this straight away don't worry, it will probably be the 1st week of January now though as we shut for Xmas at the end of next week.
  11. Pistons - use Mahle, these are pretty much the best out there, F1 teams use them for a reason. Carillo rods are the best, BC 625+ rods are a good choice as well. Standard Toyota head gasket. Our 280 cams work a treat on big power cars, especially when combined with one our big valve heads, both proven to work to over 1300bhp so far. We use Clevite bearings on all of our engine builds, from standard to big power. ARP head and main studs, rods come with there own bolts included. Std main caps unless you are going for more than a 1000bhp, even then its rare to see them breaking. Turbo kit, depends on your power goals, many many different options out there. We mainly use the Borg Warner turbos with billet comp wheels on our turbo kits. A 66mm billet turbo will make 800bhp with all the supporting mods to go with it, and it'll be fast spooling too. Fuel system, again depends on your ultimate power goals. Asnu 1000cc injectors will do 900bhp with one of our fuel rail kits, one Walbro 450lph pump will do 800bhp. You'll need regulator and fuel lines to go with it. We can supply it all if needed, if you're buying in bulk I can do a good price on it all for you. Cheers Paul
  12. We've been waiting for another date with Ryan, hopefully should be mapping it tomorrow afternoon with any luck. Update coming soon....
  13. Its certainly going to be one of the best, if not the best NA-T's out there that's for sure.

  16. Whifbitz carbon Supra windscreen panel http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/whifbitzcarbonwindscreenpanel.jpg Whifbitz front mount intercooler, we’ve got to custom build all of the intercooler pipes for this car, more on this later. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/whifbitzsuprafrontmountintercooler.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/whifbitzsuprafrontmountintercooler2.jpg Black wrinkle painted engine covers http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/johnsimpsonenginebay.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/johnsimpsonenginebay2.jpg Whifbitz aluminium radiator and Whifbitz twin electric fan kit http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/johnsimpsonenginebay3.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/johnsimpsonenginebay4.jpg Fuelab 535 Mini fuel pressure regulator with Goodridge braided lines and fittings http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/johnsimpsonenginebay5.jpg Whifbitz blue silicon Supra NA radiator hose kit http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/johnsimpsonenginebay6.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/johnsimpsonenginebay7.jpg
  17. Some more updates: John went with the 8 pot 356mm front and 4 pot 356mm rear kit, along with Porterfield R4S fast road brake pads. The K-Sport brakes really are fantastic value for money, super quality and really work well too, these are now our best selling brake kits for the Supra JZA80. Available in many different colour options, as standard they come in black, red, yellow or orange but can be supplied in custom colours at an extra cost if required. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/k-sport-brakes.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/k-sport-brakes2.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/k-sport-brakes3.jpg http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/k-sport-brakes4.jpg Now these brakes need top quality brake pads and we’ve used pretty much all of them over the years, the Porterfield pads that we import from the USA offer great stopping power with no fading, kind on discs and relatively low amounts of dust compared to other pads out there. S compound has the absolute lowest noise and dust levels, below OEM equipment or any other high performance brake material. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/images/stories/gw_images/forum pics/porterfieldbrakepads.jpg
  18. Single scroll 0.88 A/R undivided.
  19. That engine is waiting for more power, you know it makes sense!
  20. No idea until someone tries them out, considering the stock injectors are maxed out at 1.2 bar on stock turbos then probably not. You might be able to get the same power at lower boost may be. I do standard rebuilt turbos too which will probably be more suitable for people who aren't after more power. Plenty of options available.
  21. The turbo side of things is much cheaper, but it will never perform the same as a top quality single turbo kit, you cant compare the 2 really.
  22. Not exactly a back seat no, we will have 2 branches, one in London and one in South Wales. I'll be mainly based in South Wales, nothing will change at the London branch apart from the stock of parts will be in South Wales, apart from that its business as usual in London.
  23. 2 bar will require a forged engine build though don't forget and until someone fancies testing them at that boost level we won't know what will happen with egt's either. 1.6 bar should be fine though, we will find out for sure on the test car soon.
