  1. Bummer. Sorry to hear this. Looks like a gorgeous build.
  2. LOL... some things never change. Welcome.
  3. Take it from somebody who knows.... You'll regret it.
  4. A woman who loves you never would have put herself in the situation to "not remember". Move on. She's not worth it.
  5. It's beautiful, no doubt about that.
  6. I need to dig mine up. I have a bunch of stuff chromed that I need to put up for sale.
  7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Supra-Widebody-built-4-7L-V8-Twin-Turbo-/180525160763?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2a0823593b
  8. So this car is for sale I noticed.....
  9. Beautiful car. Well done. Can't wait to see some video.
  10. Cheaper in every way than the Z. Cheaply made, cheaply put together, and like all Hyundai's... it'll probably explode at 80k miles. As mentioned, cool.... but still a Hyundai. I guess there's a drift version that did well in the Pike's Peak Hill Climb though.
  11. Well done Jon. Didn't know you had it in you. I say eat em.
  12. Congrats homer. That's a lot of work finally starting to pay off.
  13. I got this for way cheaper from the States. Too bad I don't have time to get it put in before I had back to the states. Oh well. I'll get it done when I get there.
  14. Nice progress Homer! Holy Crap, the duder. Good to see you posting again man. Will be nice when it's on a more regular basis.
  15. That looks and sounds great Eric. Your hard work has really paid off. I'm headed back to the states in two weeks. Time to return after living overseas for 8 years. I may have to make a detour somewhere in my travels across the country to visit and see this beast in the flesh.
  16. Congrats on your choice. A few words. Patience. Discipline. Dedication. You're gonna need all three to achieve that dream, which was my dream years ago as well. I didn't apply myself properly, didn't have good information, and therefore did not achieve said dream. I can't speak for the RAF, because I'm in the USAF and things are different. I will say this. My 15.5 years of service have been what has defined me as a person and I'd change nothing. I am going to Officer school next month and will be leaving a flying job for a space job. I'm an AWACS Weapons Director, not a pilot. I tell pilots where to go and who to shoot at. I've spent over 3100 hours in a big round tube without windows flying all over the world. The friends I've met in the military and because of the military are far better than any of those that I had before I joined. The humor and comradarie is special, nothing else compares. There are no stronger memories. Set your goals high and strive to achieve them. Don't ever let anyone tell you "you can't". That's B.S. Anything is possible. I've been turned down for Officer School twice due to technicalities, but got in on the third try after rewording some stuff and talking to the right people. That is key. Having the right information. Recruiters are known to lie. Talk to someone in the know, like someone who's a pilot now. Just have a back up to the back up plan in case you can't find a pilot's slot. Good luck to you sir and again, congrats for making this decision.
  17. After watching vids and looking at pics while reading the write ups, believe me Steve, I would've rather been there than in Vegas. The car will be sorted..........some day. Soon I hope.
  18. 93 JDM TT auto I recently installed Tein SSs and new rear lower control arms. Went to get alignment done at Toyota. Head wrench put the car up when I described the handling (side to side rear end wander post install) and we'd gone for a short drive. Wiggles front right (driver's side) wheel with the car on lift, and there's play. Inspected all arms, found play in the steering arm (tie rod inner), under the boot or gator. Not the outter tie rod, but the inner, aka rack end. Moved about an inch or a little less in and out/right to left. Part number he gave me: 45503-59015 Can somebody with an EPC check this for me? I've been unable to find it. Price qouted: 124.75 Euros. I may try to get it from the states for quite a bit cheaper. Just wanna make sure it's the right part number. Cheers as always for the assistance. Mike
  19. The Mosel is great. Go visit the castle tour in Cochem guys.
  20. Pics please. 33 degrees? sounds nice. Is it raining? If not, sign me up. It's been raining for a week straight here in Germany.
  21. Cracks me up, but I think we all know the real Gordon would be far better. Yeah brother, but I'm as far from the Typical American as you can get. I've travelled the world and tried to encorporate as many cultures and ideas, not to mention languages into who I am so as not to be the same old stereotype. I read some of the crap on SF and it's easy to see why the UK finds it so easy to believe morons like J.Clarkson. He cracks me up, but he knows very little actually.
  22. I've just swapped my billi's for Teins. Fronts are fine, with lowering springs, Eibach I think, but will check. One of the rears needs to be revalved. Are you after springs too or just shocks?
  23. Looks nice! Welcome.
