  1. Not a fan of TVR's at all...what about these cruisers.
  2. Everythings even nowadays:)
  3. Saw the video a minute ago on the news. He does punch her a bit but its not on her face and she was blatently resisting arrest.
  4. ^^lol, yeah very common, which is why I like the S2000. I do like the supe still but if I want a single turbo I can't afford the 5k to do it, I'd rather buy a nicely tuned one.
  5. S2000 is winning it for me at the mo:) But 2 seats lets it down. Yeah I need a day to day car really, I drive 12 miles to work and back in the week and at the weekend I'd like to do some cruising with the roof down this summer!!! Budget is 10k really, could stretch higher if needed.
  6. Think I'm going to sell the supe and get a new motor for summer. I will eventually get another Supra, possibly single turbo, I just don't fancy spending thousands doing up mine when I can buy one already done and save some cash. Question is what shall I get in the meantime???

    Mot

No this is normal, you need a rear fog light for MOT. You can convert your current lights into one, theres a guide on here somewhere.
  8. http://www.yourmortgage.co.uk/08calculators/08_calculators2.htm If you go there and click on the mortgage calculator you can see an example on a graph. One thing I don't understand is...if you borrow 200k at 5.5% over 25 years it will cost you 1228 a month repayment and 916 a month for interest only. So interest only saves you 312 a month. If you saved up that every month in 25 years you would only have 93600 and not enough to pay off the mortgage. But I guess this doesn't include any interest you would have got on those savings. This is harder to work out than I thought.
  9. Yeah you have got a good plan there as long as you pay it in, in 3 years which I'm sure you will. Isn't this the same as the old endowment mortgages, paying interest only, trying to get a better return by investing extra savings each month and then paying off the mortgage at the end of the term. A lot of the money was poorly invested and people had a shortfall and couldn't pay off their mortgage. All you need to do is work out how much you would pay off on a repayment mortgage in 3 years and if you've saved money with your plan go for it.
  10. I find it hard to eat the recommended 2500 calories and im currently doing weights so would of thought I should have more than that. I mean a bowl of cereal must be 200ish, Lunch 600 at most then that leaves dinner which has to be 1700 calories?? Maybe a few snacks in between but still 2500 is a lot of calories.
  11. The cheapest quote you got im almost certain will be for a MkIII and their is an error on their system letting you do that even though you tell them its a 1995. I would of thought you would be OK selecting what conrad says above. SZ(IMPORT) Non-turbo, as that is what the car is, it just doesn't give you the option to select aero top. I'm assuming they charge you more for imports because of things like this and slight differences on models they may not know about. Admiral is linked with Elephant and i've always found them cheap for your age group so I rekon stay with them too. Where in East Sussex you from?
  12. I know I love it too

    Nice bike vid

Yeah 22 and no bike experience which is more worrying, well actually he had a 125cc for about a month.
  19. Feakins

    Nice bike vid

Definately, its got to be like getting a Supra at 17. I had so many near misses on my first year of driving and so did he!
  20. Feakins

    Nice bike vid

He's fairly sensible has done advanced driving test for police but with something like that your always tempted and I think its a bloody risky idea.

    Nice bike vid

Hey can I ask you bikers some advice....My buddy is 22, just doing his bike test and has seen an R1 for sale cheap and really wants it. This is obviously a stupid quick bike and definately shouldn't be a first bike for anyone. First I thought he wouldn't get insurance but he has done a quote online and got it for 1200, must be wrong though surely?? He's saying he might get it and sell it on but I know he'll be tempted to ride it. Even if he's sensible on it, its not a wise idea is it!?
  22. Yeah I was half in a disabled so I was hoping I didn't have a ticket! I'd already paid for parking so had to park it somewhere!!! I've seen a few silver supes I will keep my eyes peeled buddy.
  23. Me that was the best space I could find too!
