Well despite all the positive comments (cheers guys!) the Supra still remains unsold and is sat in my garage feeling very unloved!!!!! So it will remain on sale here and should anybody be interested please do not hesitate to contact me. Should circumstances change i.e it sells i will post on here to that effect. Cheers Suprasam

Many thanks guys for your words of enthusiasm - i to am amzed at the lack of interest in me car. I looked around for some time before i bought this and was astounded at the condition some people present/look after their cars!!!!!!! When i found this one i was over the moon - gutted to let it go but needs must, i can't bare to keep dropping the price but we will see. I would rather keep it tucked up in the garage than sell it for peanuts. Tempted to give ebay a shot but the one time i did put a car on i just got p*ssed about. Cheers Suprasam P.S Oddball - at this rate i may still have it in 4 months!!!!

Now up for £4995 ono.
-
Many thanks - i try to keep her looking sweet all the time!!!!! Might have to drop mine considerably although i know she's worth roughly what i am after so as i said i don't want to let it go for daft money. Fingers crossed i suppose - thanks for your comments. Suprasam
-
It seems i may have got the price slightly too high so if there is any interest please PM me with what sort of figure you have in mind. It does need to go although i won't be getting rid of it for nowt - sensible offers will be entertained. Suprasam
-
Thats fair comment i appreciate that - yeah i have seen varying prices around but to be honest most have seemed like right 'hangers' - i was banking on the tidyness of mine but obviously i am slightly out. May give it this week and drop it to £4995 or summat. Its a 1994 on an L by the way. Thanks for your input. Suprasam

As per my post in general discussion i am having to sell my beloved Supra much earlier than anticipated. This is due to a career change that wasn't due to take place until next year HOWEVER it now looks like it will be Sept time!!! This new career does not allow me to run the Supra and certainly for the short term means i will have to buy an 'A-B' car as oppose to my keeping my Supra. I looked at many many Supras before i bought this one and saw some shocking examples of people that just weren't bothered about even cleaning it prior to me looking at it - its amazing how people manage to sell their cars!!! This specific car came into England only last May so it has had a short UK life, it was bought by the previous owner from a garage in Gloucester in Oct 2004, an older guy who had just always wanted one and bought this for his short term fix if you like. I bought it from him in April so his ownership was short but when i saw the car he obviously had a genuine interest in cars having owned some interesting examples - it was immaculate. Having driven both a manual and auto i personally preferred the auto which this one is. It has all the standard features - air con, elec windows, mirrors, leather rear bench etc etc etc the only additions to the car are the 17" AVS wheels which could really do with a re-furb nothing major just cosmetic, cusco strut brace and TEIN fully adjustable suspension which is MEGA!!! It runs as sweet as a nut and has covered just 59,000 miles in its life, its taxed until next April and MOT is valid until Oct. There are no nasties with the car although it seems at some point the birds have used the bonnet for target practice and it hasn't been cleaned quick enough leaving some faint marks - once polished not highly noticeable. For the time i have had it its been great - never have i owned a car that gets so many comments from so many different people!! I will be very sad to see it go, as standard cars go i think you will be hard pushed to find a nicer example the mods are sensible and don't effect the engine in anyway which is good. It has only ever been used on the weekends and is garaged every night. I am looking for around £4650.00 but am open to close offers as time is precious!! Any questions please contact me by PM, email at [email protected] or contact me direct on 07917 673682. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/simondavidr/RightSideBeach.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/simondavidr/Leftsidebeach.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/simondavidr/FrontLeftCornerHutton.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/simondavidr/Backleftbeach.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/simondavidr/BackHutton.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/simondavidr/FrontHuttonMoor.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/simondavidr/RightSideBeach.jpg

Shovels - thats fair comment i hadn't looked at it like that!!!!! Hmmmmmmm..........
-
Yeah gutted - its an N/a - if the said job goes to plan in time i may be able to afford to have one just for the weekends so we will have to wait and see!!! Any ideas on price i should be asking?? Suprasam
-
What can you do!!!! I had planned on owing it for a year or so before the career change but unfortunately it has all come about earlier than expected!! Suprasam
-
Well as these things do - they never seem to go to plan!!!! Due to a career change which wasn't planned until next year it has sprung up early and could mean i have to sell the Sup!!!!! :thumbdown its been a short ownership and one i won't forget - never i have i owned a car that has drawn so many admiring glances and positive comments, incredible. The community of owners is a top one as well - having met a few at JapFest it confirmed what a freindly bunch you all are. Due to the poss new career it isn't practical OR economical to run the Supra so it is probably going to have to go and make way for something cheap n cheerful. So to pre-empt this i would like to thank all that have helped me with queries etc over the last few months and say 'i will be back'. As i said its not definite but looks quite possible, while i am chatting about it what sort of price should i be looking at for the car?? Its a '94 on an L black, auto, 17" AVS five spokes, Cusco brace and Tein suspension other than that standard - imported last May only 59,000 miles she is lovely sand will be missed!!! What figure should i be advertising her at?? Cheers again guys and watch this space................ Suprasam
-

Well i have done it!!!!!! taken the plunge and bought my first Sup!!!! First of all its thanks to you guys for all the advice and answers you have given me lately - its been very helpful indeed. So i looked at a couple yesterday covering around 500 miles to look - the sad thing was the one i bought was only an hour away!!!! So its a 1994 N/A Supra in black, auto (which having driven the manual i preferred), 59,000 miles, brought into country last May, 1 UK owner, 17" AVS rims which look lovely!!!! , TEIN fully adjustable suspension all round, front strut brace (manufacturer escapes me), other than that she is standard and looks gorgeous!!!!! THe guy i bought it off was a top bloke really loves his cars and has looked after it very well - mature guy not your average boy racer - really helpful and friendly so here is to MANY happy times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am hoping to collect it on Wednesday and cannot wait - i do have some photos i took today but not entirely sure how to add them so you guys can see???? Well hope to meet some of you very soon and on the subject is anyone going to Japfest at Castle Coombe next month?? Cheers a VERY VERY happy Suprasam
