LOL! (I'm Puerto Rican and I think my boyfriend might agree, but not in a good way!) And I think you can learn Spanish via a class, at least for grammar and writing, and then plop yourself into a location where people actually speak it. You won't really learn by just reading or listening... need to practice the actual language in every day context.

The best/safest thing to do would be to boot up a Live CD such as Slax. (It has a nice simple GUI and works really well.) Then (purchase if not own one already) plug in an external USB hard drive and copy the contents of your C:\ drive to the external USB drive, even if they report 0 bytes. Once you copy everything, reformat the drive. It's always good to make frequent backups of your stuff...theres tons of software out there to do so. And I always recommend an external USB drive

It was good to meet you too! And Pete got there right as you left. Funny thing happened to us.... We went to get KFC around 9pm (Pete was going to leave, so we popped over for some grub)... we come back about 5 minutes after 9:30 and we were locked in the car park! Luckily this security car came around and was nice to let us out! (I think he was only nice to us because of the Supe ) Otherwise who knows...we might have had to sleep overnight in the car! LOL
