I appreciate everyones words....Mine was supposedly a special imported one (took forever to come!) Then needed painting??? So must have come unpainted. I told the repair guy 99% of parts are the same... He assures me I know pothing and "most" parts are completely different - hence the inflated imported car insurance premiums I wish someone would tell these "experts" the score - gits He thinks toyota will not replace it now its been painted and fitted - so gloves off again!!

Oh yeah!! of course...so a 1994 jspec bumper has to be imported through some expensive channel then does it, or could it not come straight from Mr T....No problems??? Im having a right meal made of it!

Can anyone in "the know" or not...please explain the difference between a : 1. 1994 JSpec NA front bumper... and 2. 1994 UK spec NA front bumper... Following my 4 month long repair battle (still on-going), it results in an admission from the Insurance company vehicle inspector that the bumper, from Toyota is at fault... Following a lengthy discussion (Thank you) he insists that imported cars are such a pain to insure he has recommended that Tescos dont cover imports anymore, because the parts are: rare/expensive/only from japan/ etc etc ...But the insurance ombudsman has told them they cannot refuse import car insurance! So is my bumper so different from a UK one???

Just fitted my C.W full decat, and the difference is great!!!!! (Apexi induction kit, TRD exhaust) goes and sounds - SWEET !!!!

Did mine last friday.....nuts to remove......3 took around 1.5 hours, the last one popped off in 30 secs..typical. One brought the stud with it, but all in all not a ba job, now sounds great, runs great...Thanks Chris Wilson Def need ramps or lift though to make it manageable

Cant remember the order of categories???? A - minor tp D - Serious?? or other way round??? You will probably come across all sorts of difficulties like insurance, value, unseen faults, bent things etc.....Def walk away if its the bad category, if its not.... it wouldnt put me off at all...
