We've got one the same......Dont be put off by prices....Ours is worth good money still too, 'cause its a UK car. (Excellent motors - loads of cheap imports around - shame)) Tend to get through a bit of oil, - check level and condition. Check the fit of the T top glasses, (Rubber seals etc - check covers and cases are present and fit ok) Windows tend to leak when they wear too much. Drivers doors often seen to drop - check alignment. New clutch is a MAJOR pain in the ar53, so check its not slipping (They slip easily when worn) altogether bulletproof cars, Had ours years.......Service history always good.check the quality of the stamps for the usual forgeries/homemade stamps. Headlamp operation (Motors expensive) cant think of anything else really! Calipers always seizing - see if they look ok (car rolls along on slight slope ok) - check for warranty?? Great to own and drive, still look WOW today! AVOID RED - paint fades really easliy - look for milky pink patches! Good luck!!! And check when cambelt was done!! But good luck they are great!

Just wondering and looking to pick peoples brains... If I remove my Standard steering wheel to replace with a - (Not sure what yet???): Will I need a boss? Does the boss have to match the new wheel? Are they all different? Why do I need a boss? How much are they? Where from? Havent even removed mine to look, so not sure whats underneath... As a fairly competent / useless / biffer, Can anyone or anyone's tell me the "correct" method or "best" method to check my 94 Jspec NA auto gearbox oil level??? Ive been told a couple of conflicting methods and would like to do it right! (Been told: car running, not running, hot, cold, in D, P, Through all the gears, etc...)

As long as you can find a "maestro" - "Cirrus" machine, then drawing out cash is your best exchange rate... Mind you, draw a bit out at a time else small charges could add up....I draw out the most I dare in one go...
