My '95 NA passed fine with no cats on! Bearing in mind all NA's are imports, the number plate and chassis/eng numbers will probably not show up on the new MOT system, so they HAVE to run the test ion the default setting - meaning higher pass levels and 99.9% chance of both cats off passing OK! Hope yours goes fine, cats off is a simple job, undo bolts, replace gaskets, rebolt. Simple

My N/A does pretty exactly 60 miles to £10 @ 95p/pl.....If i take it reasonably steady, a bit less if I drive harder.. So by my figures.....25.4 mpg ? ? ?

As i remember, The black surround sits slightly proud, and the red lens is pretty much on a level with the bumper, maybe giving the impreesion of sitting back ? !

Ran mine through the MOT today - still sporting a pair of Chris Wilson's finest ! Cause its an import, there are no official figures on the system, so the MOT tester has to run the emissions test with the default figures (higher than usual!) Passed with flying colours, also noted though, if a normal "cat" test would have been done - it would have passed OK, had it been warmed up a bit more

Ive always thought "a little tacky" but did mine (kit from BD Trims) and love it ! !

I work at ATR Bassingbourn (right next to the track) and I can assure you its often covered in crap! ! Its a very disused airfield (Ex WWII RAF and US Air Base - Bombing Sqn's) Now an army training area. The airfield is quite rough INHO, loads of big gaps and holes. + a bit of gravel and stone chippings... Just a word of caution to anyone considering it ! ! !
