  1. Where will the water evaporate to? It's a sealed system?
  2. Is the oil cooler still in good nick? Check carefully for missing/damaged fins.
  3. £10 to charity for 0-60 passenger runs in Jamie's GTR?
  4. Ah sorry, I thought you meant stretched onto the rim, not stretching the realms of how thin a tyre you can put onto the 10".
  5. Wife, kids and I are booked in to the Shrewsbury Bayston Hill Travelodge for the Friday night. Bump... 1. Branners 2. mr lover 3. Drift_bear 4. tooquicktostop 5. Listy35 (meeting in Brecon) 6. 6. Surely you meant 255 stretched on to an 8" Dnk?
  7. From memory I think I've got... 8" fronts: 245/40/18 (Pirelli P Zero Rossos as they scream long before they let go which helps find the grip levels - and are very progressive at/beyond the limit) 10" rears: 285/35/18 (Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 - great grip and progressive enough at the limit) Withs are right, I might need to check those profiles as I'm only sureish I've got them right.
  8. I've been using "approx 40 people in approx 20 rooms" just to get the discussion going - hopefully it'll be more than that! I've been asking for costs based on: room only / B&B / dinner plus B&B rates (where applicable). I've found a nice out of town place that looks like it's worth considering, especially with the discount they're offering. I've put it to Branners in the behind the scenes events discussion.
  9. I've been trying to get us a decent group discount from a couple of hotels - worth a shot but noting worth shouting about yet; more details on whether it's going to be worthwhile or not tomorrow.
  10. Cool - the more the merrier. Between now and the trip I need to get a work car (professional image but decent mpg) that I would enjoy taking around the Nurburgring and that can still move the family around in without too much drama. Looking at a 330D M Sport I reckon. Or a 535D M Sport if I can get away with it.
  11. Fair play - it'd be gutting if you'd changed your mind having sold it as parts! You up for a club trackday if I organised one next year?
  12. Do you miss the Supra yet?

    Coventry?

Note: Moving thread from Events to Supra Chat.
  14. I meant to say - let us know how you get on! Having walked it, I'd quite like a stab at driving it now.
  15. It's 15~17 miles from me, although about 40 mins drive as it's all cross-country roads. I'm in Malvern.
  16. Yeah - me and my one year old! Enjoyed seeing all the cars and walking up the hillclimb route, I've never been before but thought it was very atmospheric and a great morning out, the icing on th cake was the beautiful weather, scenic countryside and lovely roads to & from the place from my house. We're definitely going back again, even though its just a relatively small and very random collection of cars, I loved it. Oh, and breakfast was lovely! Excellent Well, I thought it was a great morning and everyone was very friendly - even though I went in my 406! I had a nice chat to a chap about his 911 GT3 RS and another guy with a classic 911 convertible who's dad followed him in his 944. I'll get some pictures up...

  18. Sound cool, what do you get to drive? It's not tomorrow BTW it's Sunday.
  19. If the weather is dry then I'm probably going to potter along to this with my 1 year old, see if it's any good. What am I saying; they have bacon, it'll be good!
  20. I know, and I think the work looks good, but my OCD still made me type... sorry!
  21. OCD alert... You've also corrected the slash in the "A/C " button - on the OEM button, the very bottom of the slash is in line with the very bottom of the A and C. On your first steel prototype it's extended (as it is in most typefaces, so understandable), but that sort of thing would annoy me... because that means it's not a stainless version of the OEM button and is therefore just wrong.
