  1. Looks the same as the kickdown switch I took out of a GS300. It sits directly in the path of the throttle pedal, for obvious reasons.
  2. Did you have a cage in the red one, or just the black one? I liked the quality and relative subtleness of the install on the black one and was thinking of copying it. I want to do some straight line tope speed stuff one day and wouldn't be comfortable doing massive speeds without full safety gear. As it's not a daily driver I don't mind always wearing a helmet, but ideally I'd have a something I could remove with spanners if I wanted. The MR2 cage (which is MSA race approved) has weld-in feet plates, but the rest of it is bolt in so I could take it in & out if I really wanted.
  3. Stuart. But it wasn't really a Supra; just a Supra shell on a 100% replaced, drag-car chassis.
  4. Shame you're presumably sending this message from trapped inside the car; until you reverse it back out again (?) - - - Updated - - - He'd just buy an even wider bodykit with an even wider garage to put it in.
  5. This car looked white, until you looked closely and spotted it has a green haze to it when you looked at it from the front and a purple haze when you stood and looked at it from at the back. Ju ju.
  6. Some photos from today - another lovely morning out and another lovely breakfast! (Although no Supras!)
  7. I've started a new thread for photos, etc, here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?278811-DragonCol-pictures-amp-videos
  8. Aaaand a couple of videos (again from my phone)... Part of the route: http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d141/SupraSteveR/?action=view&current=VIDEO0122.mp4 Everyone leaving the pub by the cemetery: http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d141/SupraSteveR/?action=view&current=VIDEO0123.mp4
  9. Photos (poor quality but they're from my phone so...)
  10. I think I'm going to take the family (in the 406...) and a mate may be joining us in his R34. As long as it's dry we should be there, although I'm watching the F1 before I set off so might be there a little after 9.
  11. Just got back, we peeled off after the cemetery stop. A great drive in more ways than one and good to catch up with a few people. I've got some photos and video from my phone, I'll post up later.
  12. PM me your number JB? Wife, kids and I are at Pete's for tea but we're staying at the Travelodge so I'll be up for a drink at some point whilst Kate puts the nippers to bed.
  13. It's 3 hours from me but me and two mates all have (almost ready) race MR2s and we're hoping to get together at Oulton sometime before the year is out as it's local to one of the three.
  14. I have this exhaust, it's perfect for track days and saps no power (I had a pre- and post- exhaust change map check by Ryan, and as part of the change I had the wastegate piped back into the exhaust, too.) Hey Nic, didn't realise you were back in the UK! Maybe we'll meet on a track someday - got any details & photos of your MR2?
  15. Give up then, if you don't have any camber it will make very limited difference regardless what else you put on the car; you'll never corner well and fast (not compared to a car with even just a degree or so of camber).
  16. Flat - when cornering or when driving in a straight line? You can't have both. One will produce better handling, the other better tyre wear. As said above - it's always a compromise.
  17. 1. Branners 2. Havards 3. Burna 4. Robbieharley 5. SteveR 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  18. What's that little gizmo you've got where the ashtray usually sits?
