  3. Wife has told me to sort a Honeybee meet for the 2nd June, think she's keen to meet up with faces old and new - as am I of course! New thread coming up... edit - link below: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?270320-Mini-meet-Saturday-lunch-at-the-Honeybee-pub-near-Droitwich-2nd-June
  4. I keep saying to the missis we still haven't had you guys round for tea... We could just have a club BBQ at mine, that would scare the new neighbours.
  5. Cool ta; that's where my current bits are from (it's my car in the Ridox kit photos on the Whifbitz's, although I didn't own it when they were taken).
  6. Where did you get the Ridox skirts & front from? My skirts are a little bit shabby (water has got under the carbon effect bit and discoloured it - hardly anyone notices but really annoys me!) and I'm in two minds whether to refurbish & repaint or remove them & start from new.
  7. Speaking as an ex events organiser, the Midlands region is massive, you're never going to find somewhere that is local to everyone. There is a fair bit of interest in this thread, it may be best to hold 2-3 mini-region events. I don't mind sorting the Honeybee one, if people want to go for that. If I'm organising then it will be a lunchtime affair though, as I'd want to bring the family along.
  8. No commitment. 100 miles is nothing in a Supra!
  9. If it's in this sort of vicinity, hell yes! We'd all come, including Henry (who is 9 months old). Although not in my Supra, for obvious reasons.
  10. Doh Oh well, maybe if you're lucky he'll spot this thread and come along to advise.
  11. http://king-henrys-taverns.co.uk/Pubs/The-Honey-Bee They do a wide range of food, (in a wide range of quantities!), all good value. Doverdale Near Droitwich Worcestershire WR9 0QB
  12. Ibrar (Speedwells) does air con servicing and re-gassing, in case you're near him. At least he did, I think he still does.
  13. Yeah sorry I didn't mean to suggest that what I've said would fix the problem, or be a long term workaround - it's just advice to 'get you home' / place you can get it repaired.
  14. Odd, I don't think it should come on. You have to keep 'auto' off, too?
  15. okey doke, I'll (carefully) have a go at taking them out tomorrow and let you know how I get on.
  16. I've just rummaged in my garage and I have some clear repeaters ready to go on my (facelift) Supra, at which point the orange ones will be for sale - is it orange ones you're after? If so I can nip out and see if they just swap over. If you need the loom though, I can't help. I also have some clear pre-facelift repeaters for sale, taken off a GS300.
  17. Have you been to a track with noise recorders out on the track (not just at the gate when you arrive)? Croft was very nearly closed forever due to breaching noise limits, Bedford has council-owned & checked noise recorders on site.... it's really sad but the limits are killing our tracks off and the owners are (mostly) very, very careful not to exceed them.
  18. The terminals on the battery that came over from Japan in my first Supra were much smaller (diameter) than regular batteries. I think Halfords sell "Japanese" style batteries and UK batteries?
  19. Almost no chance of this, sorry. I had mine re-plumbed back into the exhaust exactly because of this.
  20. Depending on how tight a stretch it is, it might be worth extending the power cables slightly. IIRC the same supplier does battery cable in whatever length you want and mahoosive insulated block-connector type things for battery cables (i.e. designed for this purpose). Of course you could just replace the connectors to work with 'UK' batteries and have a wider choice of options next time the battery needs doing. Maybe those adaptors would work in the interim?
  21. I've jsut noticed they also sell "Battery post collars. Use when fitting standard clamps to smaller battery posts". Dunno if that's of any help. http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/battconns/battclamps.php
  22. Are they the smaller diameter, round ones? I think you need the 'Japanese type' connectors if that's the case. I'd measure up and then give those guys a call to check. I think this is what bought for my first JSpec Supra. Refs from that website are BTJP (+ve) and BTJN (-ve).
  23. These guys are good and they seem to stock everything http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/home/homepage.php
