  1. To make the effort to come on and defend yourself is to be commended. From the responses given I can't quite work out whether you are naive, incompetent or dishonest. Trading as a dissolved company is illegal and can have serious consequences. If reported to the authorities you will be in trouble. I would take time to read the link I posted, here it is again http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/reports/676408/oft1241.pdf This explains how you should treat your customers and the rights that they have (and the rights you have as well) A free piece of advice. Many people think they are in business to make money, you are actually in business to provide a service. If you do this well then making money will follow.
  2. I'd have a look through this as some bedtime reading http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/reports/676408/oft1241.pdf You might realise what your responsibilities are Examples of misleading actions: Misleading consumers about their statutory or other rights, for example, by using words or statements such as ‘Sold as Seen’ or ‘Trade Sale Only’ or ‘No Refund’ or ‘Spare or Repair’ even if the statement ‘this does not affect your statutory rights’ is included.
  3. That explanation is tenuous at best, implausible at worst. Playing the race card smacks of desperation in my opinion. If I'm honest I think you are writing your own obituary.
  4. I get the feeling that there is going to be some mystery shopping going on!
  5. It's definitely commendable that you have come on to put your side. If you can answer the questions without any ducking, I will be impressed. Is it just me who finds it a bit odd that you didn't name the two employees? If that was me, I'd be like "John and Dave (substitute Asian equivalents) work for me, lovely, trustworthy guys" etc If you are going to turn the tide of scepticism, you are going to need to be honest and frank about PBC. If you can turn this around, it will be a massive PR coup for you. Who knows, maybe you could be the biggest seller of Japanese Sports Cars one day!
  6. From earlier in the thread Why you have you dismissed the engine rebuild warranty earlier in this thread? Why don't you defend yourself on the MLR? There's at least a dozen threads on there warning members against you. Why are there persistent claims of bad customer service? Phones not answered, e-mails not replied to, can't arrange viewings etc Why do you operate "bait and switch" tactics even though these are outlawed? (Promoting a desirable car only for it to be sold and then being offered a inferior substitute) Any comment on the Yellow S15 claims? Any proof to the claim you sell 10 times more than the competition? This is reckoned to be around 1200 units a year Why is your company dissolved at Companies House? Why has no-one ever met Paul Brown? You don't need any scans/photos' to answer these genuine questions. Hopefully the answers will reassure genuine customers as to how your business transacts with its customers and secures it's stock. I'm sure other people may have questions that they would be interested to have answered
  7. Don't be too hard on him, he works until 2.30 am! You would think though, that one of the most important things on his "to do" list would be to defend his company against the points levelled in this thread.
  8. Perhaps we should have a list of genuine questions to answer? i.e Why you have you dismissed the engine rebuild warranty earlier in this thread? Why don't you defend yourself on the MLR? 9. This sums up the tactics employed by PBC http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=407576 yepp, cars not as described. repost adverts to well presented cars that they do not have for sale... Will provide some bullsh*t story that they sold earlier that day and then end up readvertising the same advert later that week. The same advert has been running since october 2011 til now for a white evo 5..... the exact one I enquired about and went out of my way to see.
  10. I think it's safe to assume the following Paul Brown doesn't exist. The name is a misnomer to create the image of a reputable business. The reality is a bunch of guys who collectively have a load of cars bought on the cheap that they are trying to pass off as top quality examples. Like the Yellow S15. They try to prey on people who are clueless about Japanese sports cars. Of course a few of the cars probably are ok. Most have dubious history though and upon inspection by someone who has some basic knowledge the truth is revealed. This is proven by a simple google search, plenty of dubious reports on the MLR, SXOC, DW etc from people who have been to see the cars and are at met on a side street by a couple of chancers. My favourite claim from them though is that they are selling 10 times as many cars as the competition. If you look at the companies left in the import game - DCY, JM, Torque GT, SVA etc they conservatively average around 10 units a month each I would think. Therefore PBC are claiming to sell 100 a month. They hold 24 in stock, so they are turning there stock over every week. This is clearly rubbish. The warranty claims are laughable as well and clearly demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of the motor trade.
  11. I was looking at a Supra here a while ago until I saw this thread on DW http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drifting-chat/174549-caution-about-yellow-s15-spec-r.html
  12. Closer 2004: Dan: Everybody wants to be happy. Larry: Depressives don't. They want to be unhappy to confirm they're depressed. If they were happy they couldn't be depressed anymore. They'd have to go out into the world and live. Which can be depressing.
  13. Was the guy you bought it from living in Devon? White, aftermarket bodykit with unusual rear wing? Mike.
  14. It's possible to make the graph update on value's that are entered. Not entirely sure what your trying to do but if you PM me I'll take a look over e-mail Mike.
  15. Just had a look at his site, only seems to have two or three gauge pods, only have one gauge to mount at the moment Guess I'll drop him a mail and find out if he does a single gauge holder! Thanks for the info! Mike
  16. Hello! Anyone know where I can find one of these for my Supra? Thanks, Mike.
