  1. i don't have a wing on the back, but that isn't to say i wouldn't have one in the future maybe, i just like it as it is for now
  2. are you sure you it's definitely an ignition feed you need? i thought with the harness you would just need to find a ground and a handbrake connection (which can alternatively be a ground as well instead of the handbrake) - this is based on my experience with the Blitz timer though so may be totally different to the Greddy one
  3. aye, good to meet some more of you guys DVD distribution sounds good to me
  4. anyone seen a weather report that looks good yet?! the switch from 36 degrees at Malaga airport to 16 degrees and pissing down rain at Manchester airport was pretty depressing this morning Meeting at Bolton Services at 7:45am 1. 7. i could have sworn i watched Andy Robinson's blue Rover Coupe win the FWD 1/4 mile?! he was then supposed to race the CRD Supra but they said his gearbox was shafted & he could race so CRD got a by to the final for overall - or did i just dream that bit?!
  8. mine will definitely look shite sat next to it then and i've just spent all day polishing it

  13. just found this article on mkiv.com for anyone who may find it of use http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/hks_turbo_timer/turbo_timer.htm i'm going to try their earth connection suggestion instead at the weekend
  14. isn't this the kind of thing that a custom bodyshop can do with fibre glass etc? suppose it depends on the depth underneath too my next plan is to see if Ant who owns the RX-7 with the bonnet (cover car from issue 1 of J-Tuner) is at TOTB & ask him!
  15. just noticed this morning that the timer didn't kick in & the engine stopped & the other day it also almost did the same but managed to catch itself, if you know what i mean, to keep idling for the 30 second countdown it had calculated could this be a dodgy ground connection? i wired it to the same ground connection as the kph>mph converter chip which is a screw on the back of the speedo clock
  16. would it be wise to also stick fuel filter change & plugs in there to make it a complete service guide? there's the bits on mkiv.com that provide a lot of stuff already
  17. nope wasn't that one - it was standard the one i saw
  18. thanks for that so does screwed all the way in mean less sensititive & all the way is more sensitive? i've also got these changeable trumpets to go on, do you know if these make much difference?
  19. anybody? just after what the difference is supposed to be with the screw all the way in or all the way out now, since that appears to be the only adjustable part
  20. Sunday night & i was looking at the car in front when i noticed a gorgeous looking Veilside going the other way young lad driving it & it looked black with a red flip in the paint? are you local?
  21. anyone got a set in engrish? i'm trying to figure out which is the adjustable bit & what the correct procedure is to adjust it the one i've just fitted seems quiet to me so i'm wondering if it's turned down or something. boost is rock solid on about 10psi so i don't think it's leaking or anything cheers, Wes

    Autobox Manners

i have been wondering this myself recently so some good advice here thanks i was actually putting it into N at any opportunity but won't know! but, the main reason i have been doing this is because i seem to get vibration when in D with my foot on brake, anyone else get this or know what it might be - it seems to vary how much vibration but it is quite noticeable
  23. does it make any difference if you put your foot on the brake pedal more firmly? and if you press the little red button behind the lever does it come out freely straight away? never had this problem but just thought you could differentiate between it being the sensor that the brake pedal notifies to release the lever or whether it was the actual lever mechanism
