  1. ah cheers merckx just wanted to be sure really as i really noticed the fuel consumption difference when the cats came out etc
  2. someone recommended a local place for priming, spraying & fitting my new Do Luck bumper i left it with them a couple of weeks ago & chased him up today to find that he had done nothing with it so far he reckons it will be the end of next week now when he calls to say it's ready for fitting but if he hasn't done anything with it by then then i'm gonna look for somewhere else just wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere, Supra friendly cheers, Wes
  3. With regards to the uprated fuel pump on a decatted J Spec does anyone know whether this would lead to an immediate increase in fuel consumption, even when driving conservatively, or does it just mean that it would be capable of feeding more fuel when asked to? I came across this old post whilst having a search & wondered if anyone had any more recent findings or recommendations (the Walbro 255lph was the one i'd been assuming to be best choice): http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=6915&highlight=fuel+pump+consumption cheers, Wes
  4. what were the charge temps before & after then? and do you notice any additional turbo lag with the larger FMIC compared with the SMIC?
  5. saw you again today & you waved you were a lady today!
  6. any use? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLITZ-alloy-badge-STI-WRX-IMPREZA-SKYLINE-CELICA-CRX_W0QQitemZ8029958619QQcategoryZ72211QQcmdZViewItem
  7. prepare for the junk emails... and what's with all the perfume you been buying
  8. Chris, i've emailed you a few times now & not had any replies. Are they reaching you? Wes
  9. sad day matey, i've tried talking you out of it before & i'll continue to holds sentimental value your car, it's the one that made me buy mine!!
  10. looks like a nice spec. some nice mods there that most folks in the know would be looking for if they wanted a ready made Supra - whether you'll get your money back is another thing altogether it seem at the mo, with current prices seemingly coming down & the usual loss that is made on mods you haven't put what mileage it has & isn't that a Veilside front bumper? if there's no initial interest in the car as it stands, have you considered stripping the bits off again & selling them seperately & seeing if the car will sell back as standard, maybe even getting somewhere close to what you paid for it if it was only a month ago?

    Power Balls

managed about 9k once beware of the cheap imitations and ones that don't have the RPM counter on them, they suck
  12. definitely glad i still came down after finishing work a bit later than expected nice to see you all again & saw some new faces/supras there too thanks for putting the vid up noob, & thanks for the extra onion rings Gaz
  13. it's looking good for me at the mo
  14. http://www.mobygames.com/game/titanic-challenge-of-discovery haven't played it myself, just have it available if it was what you were looking for
  15. 'Titanic - Challenge of Discovery' any good to ya?
  16. if you can get to someone via MSN messenger they could send the file to you via there? wez_p @ hotmail com if i'm about
  17. as usual, work is getting in the way of the things i would like to be doing grr one of my projects is going live at about 5.15 on monday night so i'm 50/50 on whether i'll be able to get down now, depending on how well things go hoping to still make it, just a bit later on, so i'll just meet you all there
  18. does make a lovely difference, but it's either the traction control kicking in for fun or risk losing the bastard in this weather!!
  19. i keep looking at this one that Nic is selling, but just can't justify the cost http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=49019 might not actually be proper touch screen either
  20. can happily meet along the way if you prefer matey? the BP garage at the tickled trout roundabout junction of the M6 is our usual meeting point then it's just a straight run down the M6 to J21 Ian, i hope you're also getting Chris to do some minor mods, i.e. BPU while you're there. It'll only save you going back in about 2 months time
  21. junction 21 i believe Dodgy, like Ian said, it's a jap car meet that happens every month thinking it might be busy this month with it being the first of the new year? there's half decent grub in the pub too so can have a jar & some fodder whilst not looking at everyone's cars
  22. who's heading down this month for the first of the new year? i'm hoping to be there
  23. guess you'd need a boost gauge on there to be sure whether there was boost leaking through the BOV or a pipe etc my 96 auto TT also sounds alot louder when it's nice and cold. i asked the same question on here when i first got mine & heard it for the first time! i've now got a boost gauge telling me things are A-OK for peace of mind
  24. absolutely agree with this. if you are bothered about how quick it goes then you will soon get used to the power & wish you'd got the quicker one! and again, it's very easy to drive the car normally, but very easy to put your foot down & grin for a while. the onus is on you to control the beast within!
