  1. Well I did have my CBT a few years back but that's expired so I'll need to take it again. After that I want to get my full bike license. I've been looking at older GSX600R's, they're pretty cheap as is the CBR600. I've been told the GSX is the better bike but the CBR more user friendly. I know somebody will say a 600 is too big for a first time bike but I used to race scrams for years so handling a quick bike isn't as daunting for me as it would be others... Cheers Jamie, will check that site out...
  2. Me and a friend of mine are looking into getting our bike licenses in time for the summer. I have a few queries on tests and which bike to start with etc but need a forum to join... Can anyone point me in the right direction? Oh and don't need any of the sarcastic posts you normally get round here when anyone mentions getting a bike. I'm fully aware of how dangerous they are!
  3. Oh ok cool, thanks for that dude. Hopefully I can get this sorted....
  4. I am the administrator on my PC if that's what you mean. Will check out Trinity though cheers Gav, downloading something called Ophcrack too at the moment. My only concern is that it's a 10 digit password with letters and numbers, it's probably not an easy password to crack.
  5. Oh man this could be a big problem. To cut a long story short it appears that when setting up my password to log on to Windows Vista I have managed to input my new password incorrectly twice. Damn wireless keyboard. Anyway I need to gain access to my PC. I've tried accessing Safemode with F8 and even that wont work. Instead of the ususal options I just get 3 options of how I want to boot up, From Floppy, CDROM or HD. Anyone know how to get access to Windows? I cannot be re-installing everything becuase I haven't backed anything up!
  6. Nah he's retired now although there's always rumours he'll return due to his need of money. The man earned between $300m and $400 million in his career and has nothing now!!
  7. Maybe not to everyones taste but I watched the documentary 'Tyson' last night (showing at selected cinemas and available as a torrent DVD rip if you know where to look! ) No doubt the majority of people have already made their minds up on what kind of person they think Tyson is. Watch this movie and I'm pretty sure you'll change your mind or at the very least see him in a different light. As I'm a huge boxing fan anyway this is right up my street. That said it's still an interesting and enjoyable watch for those who aren't into boxing. Mainly because of Tyson himself. He's surprisingly humble, articulate, brutally honest and strangely endearing despite some of the terrible things he has done.
  8. Run out of DVD's at the moment and wanted to burn a movie to a CD so the old man could watch it tonight. Just not had time to go buy anymore DVD's...
  9. Can anyone explain to me how to do this? I'm assuming that movie files are always compressed to this size file so that they fit on a CD-R? Yet in the past when I used Nero I would create the VCD file from the original 700mb file and it would end up bigger regardless of what settings I used. Thus making it too big for a CD. I now just use Win Avi to create files but as I've run out of DVD's I tried creating a VCD file, this hasn't worked either. Win Avi splt the file at 650mb and then created an additional unuseable file of 222mb.... Where am I going wrong?
  10. Wouldn't that just mean the line/bullet travelled a further distance, nothing to do with time? That said, I haven't a clue which of you guys are correct. Just out of curiosity though, what's the range of a standard bullet you fire in the army? Then what's the speed of that bullet? Surely we can work out how long it takes it to hit the ground from that?
  11. Michael would have a field day in this thread with his http://www.youre.co.uk link! As for the question not a clue, but all this talk of snipers got me thinking about a book I read when in Thailand. Sniper One, excellent read!
  12. Well I thought it was pretty cool anyway! Never seen any in Wolverhampton before! Must be at least 6 of them just darting around in random directions for absolutely no reason. They've never been here before and it's just outside my room they're doing it. We've had a huge influx of some kind of gnat like insect this year, maybe they're feeding on them? I do live in a farely rural location, there's woods nearby. Anyone know where they sleep during the day? Our roof is quite large so they might be sleeping there.
  13. I'm 99% sure the weigh-in will be on the Friday, never known one to be 2 days prior to the fight. Must say Bob you have picked one hell of a fight to go see. I do actually rate Ricky's chances as better than when he fought Mayweather, even so I still don't think he'll win. Pacquiao is imense and I'm a huge fan of his, so much so I don't think I'd be too disappointed if Ricky lost. I'm sooo excited for Vegas this time around. My current ringtone is 'Viva Las Vegas' by Elvis. I keep missing my calls because I'm too busy singing: ... 'Bright light city gonna set my soul...!!!' :d
  14. Bobbeh, I remember from past threads you're a fellow boxing fan like me. I'm also flying out to Vegas for the fight on the 30th of this month, seriously cannot wait!! This is my 4th time to Vegas, 3rd time for a fight. I was at Hatton Castillo and Calzaghe Hopkins. Most things covered by previous posts, taxis are expensive! Use the Deuce bus when exploring the strip, comes literally every 5 mins and you can get a 24hr ticket for $5. The Deuce just runs up and down the strip 24hrs a day. Hoover Dam and Canyon a must, the canyon I wasn't overly impressed with but at least you've ticked that box and can say you've seen it. Aside from all that, you'll have an amazing time no doubt!! I love it there! I'm fortunate enough to have been all over the world backpacking and Vegas is easily my favourite place I've been. Oh, make sure you're at the weigh-in the day before, always a good atmosphere! Free too so get there early if you want a good view.
