I was driving down the M62 and saw you cross over the motorway near the Bowring Park exit. Standard wing on the back. This might be the car my mates keep waving to and getting funny looks in return:)

META M99T2 + M36T2 CAT1 Alarm & Immobilizer, comes with two fobs and an override key. It also comes with m23t2 microwave sensor which makes it ideal for an aerotop (or leaving the windows down). Previous owner (ugp) fitted these as a job for a few years and he has removed it neatly . I bought this off Ben (ugp) last week but unfortunately I can't find anyone willing to remove the current system and fit this one in my area. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get a new installation, hence the reason for sale. Looking for what I paid for it £150 ono posted. Thanks for looking James

Mine ran 590, 592, 586 i think which, although awesome, sounds high for the spec. Peaked at 1.33 bar

Really enjoyed today, apart from the weather (knew I should've taken a coat!). Happy with results too (although the car car cut out numerous times on the way home, including on the motorway)

Got the car checked yesterday and it refused to play ball by not flashing the CEL with the laptop plugged in. Needs a remap but it's going on the dyno Saturday for the fun of it anyway Not expecting much though, but it'll give me a base figure to compare with following the remap.

Really looking forward to this. Hope I can get these CEL gremlins ironed out tomorrow so that the boost can go back to 1.3bar. Otherwise, assuming everything else is ok, i'll just do a run on 1.1 to see what it does

As Ro said I live in Widnes, Cheshire. The ONLY other company I could get to quote was Adrian Flux, who were £600 more expensive. I tried some of the other insurers people had mentioned on here but due to insurers changing their criteria and premiums increasing, none would even quote. A Plan gave me a great quote on a similar spec car 2 years ago. Now, the same underwriter won't do more than 35% over standard power and no more than 25% of car value on modifications. This is how much the insurance game has changed recently. If you get cheaper quotes elsewhere, living in different places with different spec cars, well done to you. In my circumstances, my area, my car, Sky were by far the cheapest, enabling me to buy the Supra. Rgds James

Hi guys, Picked up my Supra on Friday night, made up with it. Parked it up this morning, turned it off as normal. Went back to move it and the car is dead. It has a Yupiteru engine starter which locks/unlocks the doors too. The car isn't responding to the fob at all. Upon opening it with the key and putting the key in the ignition and switching it on, there is no life on the dash apart from the temp gauge moving slightly. There is a beeping noise coming from the dashboard. I got a mate in a van to attach jump leads to make sure the battery hadn't drained somehow and there was still nothing from the dash. Also disconnected/reconnected the battery to no avail. I'm really stuck now as I need to move the car today. Does anyone have any ideas what could have happened and how to remedy? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks James
