  1. I would not bother fitting a cover. They are far more hassle than they are worth. Have a read though this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?331919-Car-cover-superb-quality&highlight=cover

    Shocks

I had Gaz Gold shocks on my Chimaera and they were always fantastic
  3. Looks a great car. Congrats on the Huracan too, epic car!
  4. Have written agreements with the bodyshop too. With regards to prices (even if your not paying), timescales for the job being completed to a satisfactory standard, do they offer guarantees against the finish or sinkage of filler later down the line if the quarter is not replaced and just repaired. Paintwork condition is not always how it looks on day of collection but a few months later after curing fully. You'll have a lot on your plate to do with this so just trying to advise. The more prepared you are from the start with this issue, it will save you a lot of headaches/potential costs to yourself further down the line if something goes wrong.
  5. I do believe you should be calling your insurance company yourself. Taken from the which.co.uk website... Make sure you tell your insurer about the car accident as soon as you can. Failure to do so within the time period set out in your policy may invalidate your cover, leaving you with a big bill to pay. Make sure you check the wording of your car insurance policy carefully as these time periods can be anything from two days to two weeks after the accident. You should always inform your car insurance company about an accident, even if you don't want to make a claim.
  6. Totally agree with Digsy. Have all communication to do with this in writing from the start.
  7. Ouch! Certainly repairable, but an expensive repair to do properly on a Supra in that location and the colour of your car. YOU must choose the bodyshop, not them. Its a bus, their bodyshops will be spraying their damaged buses to a standard and price required for buses, not a Supra. You do not want to be left with a rear quarter stuffed with filler which may cause you grief later down the line. Or blend lines on your rear quarter leading up to the roof, as this is where nearly all bodyshops will choose to blend to avoid painting the roof and rear quarter on the other side. Whatever it costs to put your car back to no less than the exact standard prior to their mishap is what their cost is. Do not be lenient on this in any way.
  8. I would have a read of this thread as the subject gets discussed quite a bit http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?331919-Car-cover-superb-quality&highlight=cover
  9. I think they look great. Love the rears! Need to see the whole car though
  10. Fantastic build! Look forward to the updates!
  11. Nice of you to take the time doing a review, will always be useful to others. Its always your opinion that counts when modding your own car. But, its not for me. Your car is stunning with such a sleek and subtle kit that makes you look closer at the car in certain areas to take it all in. The stickers distract from that i feel. Also, how do you put tyre shine on, without covering the white or having to spend ages cleaning off the letters?
  12. Yeah the tax disc holders is exactly it! they stick to glass and probably paintwork, but aren't actually sticky. Will drop Ellis a pm, thanks for the DMB contact too Cheers guys, helpful as always
  13. I have no idea what to call this thread! I'm after some logos being printed out onto the kind of plastic material that can be stuck to glass, paintwork etc. but the stuff that isn't sticky, it just sticks, and its easily pealed off, if that makes sense. Its for a static display, so the material I'm thinking of should be fine. I don't even know what to google to try and find somewhere that does this, so falling on the fountain of knowledge in here, as always Cheers
  14. Not sure regarding the fuse? But im sure someone will be able to advise. Don't know about the high stall, but I didn't have one fitted. Autos generally can be a pain on dynos but equally the operator will need to be familiar with them.

    Snow foam

I'm sure Peter Richards will be able to provide you with a snow foam lance to fit your nilfisk and also provide a foam to use
  16. You have to be in Manu mode with O/D off. Start with the revs as low as you can, avoiding kickdown
  17. I'd say Volks. Black and red always goes well. Agree with Dnk too, the Weds are quite a fussy wheel and will be harder to keep nice
  18. I would definitely be using a dedicated metal polish for a stainless exhaust. Some fine grade wire wool to remove any tar spots
  19. You have bought yourself a lovely car Pete, enjoy
  20. The novelty will quickly fade with the Scooby, it did with me. The Supra is the better car, to look at, drive and as an investment.
