  1. Rosso Corsa I would not say would be a hard colour to match if you need any panels redone at a later date. Its just a solid colour, no metallic. I would also not worry yourself about avoiding a red due to concerns of fading with modern paint technology, especially if your having it done by a professional outfit, which I'm sure you will. Any paint to be kept in good condition will require waxes/sealants to maintain the finish and offer good protection.
  2. That colour will look great once all polished up Look forward to the updates
  3. Your ok at the moment, that's not an addiction, yet.....
  4. Is the link working for anyone else?
  5. Eastbourne, 16th Aug 2014, 5:30pm and do something nice with Dad. That's definitely where the Delorean would take me
  6. I'll remember this Peter for my next one. Have had the EZ and all sorts, back on a meguiars at the mo, so it definitely wont be lasting long!
  7. Looks good mate. As you say, I get sick of buying new ones all the time

    Road trip

Sounds great! Road trips throughout Europe are fantastic. A few months ago I drove over to Spain, Soto Grande and last week I went to Benevello in Italy. Its all about the views and the company with you

  17. Hi mate, Its so nice to see you looking after my Dad's old car, he'd be chuffed to bits to see it being pampered, it really means a lot. Its been just over a year now. Still had to pause before scrolling to your pics. Thank you

    NA-T vs TT

As above, start with a TT. If your not used to RWD fast cars, remember it will only be as fast as your right foot! Its worth doing insurance quotes on both cars too, as you may not find much of a difference
  19. That is indeed what you call a high class problem My trailer had to be spec'd stupidly wide purely due to the Aventador
  20. Its just no where near as smooth, can be quite neck snappy at times. When your on the move its not horrendous, but stop starts (London!) can be a bit juddery at times. The car should have always had a dual clutch. It does change gear very very quickly, especially in sport and corsa, its just a little abrupt and lacks the refinement that some of the others have. You may find you can live with it ok, so a test drive is essential, its still a fantastic car! I found the roof annoying at first, but quickly got used to its operation. Roof off and rear window down, in Sport mode, EPIC!
  21. The deposit for the 488 can be used on this instead
  22. The Aventador Roadster is a stunning car to look at and a real sense of occasion every time you get in it. But, the single clutch is a real let down with the car. Its also a big heavy car, I wouldn't say it makes you feel comfortable throwing it around too much, like you would in the 458 which feels very nimble indeed. The 488 is a totally different car to the 458. The brakes on it (from La Ferrari) are incredible even when standing on them at 180+ It felt like as much of a difference as comparing a 430 to a 458. Personally I prefer driving the Huracan to the Aventador, if having some 'fun'. It looks fantastic, inside and out, very nimble and a brilliant throttle response, and cheaper! But will always be the baby brother of the Aventador. The Aventador roadster prices will also shortly be affected with the SV's arrival. All imo, but I've had a lot of driving time in all of the above cars.
