  1. I dont think I had one of those in my kit. Certainly never used it in my installation. It could be an inline filter, but the injector nozzle has a filter and 1 way valve built in to it as well.
  2. Stock front aluminium crash bar £25 Air duct for stock SMIC £15 Stock coolant overflow bottle with mounting bracket (no lid) £15 Stock plastic slam panel (fits between top of bumper and radiator) £20 All prices include UK postage. I can take some photos if anyone wants.
  3. Dont see whats wrong with it, personally. Seems quite well done from the photos. Nicely de-locked and de-badged and the taillights in the rear bumper are very neat. I'm assuming that, since its based on a mk1 punto, he never built it to be the ultimate track weapon so fair enough on the wheel spacers. My idea of a barryboys car is one of those permanantly half finished fibre-glass and primer nightmares, not somthing thats had a fair bit of hard work put into it. Its not to my taste, but have any of you asked the guy if he wants a 15 year old japanese hatchback that does 15mpg? Just another excuse to post up some veilside bashing imo.
  4. Only thing I can think of on the drivers side is the cat temp sensor then.
  5. Shield for fuel filter? It will be drilled if it is.
  6. My eldest used to have bottles that were basically a hollow tube into which you put a plastic bag and filled that with milk. As the milk is drunk, the bag collapses on itself making it impossible to suck in any air. Cant remember what they were called, but they worked very well. They used to be available from Boots.
  7. I got mine from a local automotive components supplier in a big box of various sizes. A decent hardware shop/motor factors should have them.
  8. Veilside front and side skirts with Trial rear, stock wing, in black Although the bomex lip on the stock front would be my second choice. I've yet to find an angle from which a TRD wing looks like it belongs on the car - it just doesn't match any of the lines.
  9. Its a J-spec RZ with a front mount intercooler. I'd doubt the steel turbo and stage 2 (???) claim unless you see proof. Radiator looks to be on its way out. Drivers seat is well worn, check the pedal rubbers for wear. Alot are clocked, but usually in japan so hard to prove - not always a problem as long as its been well looked after. Make sure its got lots of UK history. Grey carpet is standard. Get a good test drive and have it thoroughly checked by a good mechanic if you're not sure. I always avoid buying cars from anyone who uses the word "innit"
  10. I had exactly the same problem with my AEM AFR gauge a few months ago. It was the sensor. Got a new sensor from Gaz at Envy. No idea why it happened, but see here on the AEM forum: LINK
  11. Not me either, but just round the corner from me. There is 2 mkiv's very local that are not members on here.
  12. Perhaps we can let the DVLA run the database - they never lose anything / sell it to the highest bidder / make a mistake, do they? Or maybe the NHS or home office or possibly inland revenue should manage it. No..no, i've got it - we'll contract it out to a private company - like Capita:taped:. You might just be able to make a good case in theory for this, but in practice it will be another badly managed and abused instrument of a nanny state with really quite serious communist leanings - much like anti terror legislation.
  13. Could be norovirus. I had it a few weeks ago and couldn't get warm, even in bed fully dressed with the elec blanket on full. Only lasted for a day though.
  14. Can do:D She has the nicest smile:love: I dont think this weeks episode was the best they've ever done though

  20. Stock side mount intercooler, decent condition, there is a few bent or chipped fins on the front, probably due to stone damage - no real corrosion anywhere. Been in my shed for the last few years since I fitted a front mount. £50 inc mainland UK postage. Front: Back; Inside:
  21. Have you spoken to Konrad yet Linda? Thats cos non of them have tightened up the spare wheel yet:p. Seriously, they're not much good as specialists. Its likely to be suspension related and i'd start with the ARB bushes.
