  1. I quite like that. Might not be to everyones taste, but it seems well done, especially the door cards.

  4. If its a stock spoiler, Mr T sells the foam gaskets that sit between the spoiler and the hatch, only about a fiver each from memory, and they have the holes precut in the right place.
  5. Upper bolt is easy if you have a long wobble bar. Whole job took me less than 1 hour. Quick tip: dont remove the starter bolts from the bellhousing. Undo themwhile pulling the starter toward the front of the engine (from underneath). Once you've rebuilt the solenoid, put it back in the same way and tighten each bolt a bit at a time to pull it in square.
  6. The parts you need are: Starter Kit #28226-74070 and Starter Kit #28226-22050 Get both, one is the battery side contact, the other is the motor side contact. They come with all the seals/gaskets etc that you need. Cost me £14.86 about 2 months ago

    One dead Enzo

Have you seen the sig of the guy who posted the pictures: "You need only two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.":rlol:
  8. yellow one=level red one=oil pressure
  9. Not 100% on this, but they look the same as the dash warning bulbs (oil pressure etc) Part no 83119-24070
  10. Gauge or sender only. No way the water temp could fluctuate that quickly. Its a regular problem on our Scanias at work
  11. Dual zone proximity as well. Essential on an aerotop.
  12. Every day, school run, work and some nice long runs at the weekend. Only work a mile away from my hose so i dont clock up too many miles
  13. you need to be under the car to get the starter motor out. Replacing the contacts in the solenoid is a 15 min job. There's detailed instructions on here somewhere
  14. There is 2 wires, a big one direct from the battery which unbolts and a smaller one which is a push fit plug. Once you've got it removed, do a search on here for "starter motor". Its an easy fix and will cost you about £15
  15. how long you in Halesowen for. Call in for a brew
  16. I cant wait for Tlisence to do a valve stem seal replacement guide on that!
  17. I once opened the door to jehovas witnesses wearing a boilersuit and full facemask and carrying an axe. they did 0 - 60 in about 2.4 seconds up the drive. I was knocking down a ceiling at the time. That was 5 years ago and i've never had a visit from them since.
  18. take the whole glove box out 2 (or 3 cant remember) screws accessed from inside the bottom glovebox and 2 behind plastic covers inside the top glovebox
  19. took me 6hrs and 3 trains to get mine. 2.5 hrs home.
  20. That car was up for sale a while ago when I was looking for my sup. There's an r34 skyline on there too which seems a bit iffy to me

    $160 billion

http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,22749-1847567,00.html Not really suprising given the price of spares:complain:
  22. Good lord. Certainly stirred up a hornets nest with this one didn't I. CJ, I'm not reveling in or glorifying their death. I was just pointing out that a respected sunday paper (The Times - not known for its liberal views) and the BBC are treating the death of these people like its something we should all be sorry about and me, and most of the other people who've posted on this thread all seem to think its no great loss. I can see your argument for the punishment not fitting the crime but at the end of the day its better they all die than get a derisory sentence in court, then sue the police for somehow "causing" the accident. As I said earlier, next time they could hit something (someone) more important than a garden wall.
  23. I disagree It doesn't say in the report what happened to the cyclist, but when a car hits a bike (presumably at speed) the cyclist may well end up killed. Or a pedestrian. Or your mum/dad/wife/children. The problem is society seems to be unable to control these type of people. They never contribute anything to the community, just destroy - they are out for what they can get without giving a damm about the consequenses and i still believe we are better off without them.
  24. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/southern_counties/4390038.stm 5 drunken teenagers steal a car, injure an innocent cyclist and wreck someones garden and get killed in the crash and we're supposed to feel sorry for them and somehow blame the police. I feel sorry for the cyclist I feel sorry for the people whose house they wrecked I feel sorry for the bloke who hasn't got a car any more As for them: GOOD - I'M GLAD THEY'RE DEAD!!! Means my car and house are now that little bit safer. I've seen this story in a couple of papers over the weekend, all with the same take on the story and i'm beginning to wonder if i'm alone in wishing there was a few less drunken, theiving morons in this country. Rant over.
  25. I'd be up for this, but i'll have to let you know when you've decided on a date/time already. One of the Saturdays would be my best bet.
