The problem with religion (all religion) is that it was invented by the powerful (rich) to control the weak and the stupid (poor). The basic teaching of all religion is: do what we say and good things will happen, disagree with us and bad things will happen (heaven and hell from a christian perspective, but they all have similar philosophies). Obviously for this to perpetuate itself all religions must be the only religion, so everyone is trying to destroy everyone elses beliefs to ensure the continuation of their own (and go to heaven). Its been going on for thousands of years and wont end any time soon. It just so happens that Islam is going through the same militant phase that Christianity went through a few hundred years ago with the crusades. Only when we advance enough to see through this rubbish and follow our own destiny will it end. Its about time that we all realised that these so called Gods do nothing for us: I remember being told by a religious man to thank god for my children, but when I asked him who the parents of children killed in the tsunami should thank, he had no answer. Religion is a sham and should be wiped from the face of the earth. PS. prove the existance of a God and i'll retract all this.

Yes!!!! Stick the O2 sensor in a lemon, or lemon juice, overnight, then clean it with brake cleaner (not brake fluid) to remove any loose carbon deposits and lemon residue.

I remember Clarkson testing the Uk spec on the old top gear, way back in the '90s. He had it emerging from an underground bunker surrounded by smoke and lights, then went on to slate it for being dull. You'll be ok on all '93, '94 and some (early) '95 imports. They only have to pass a basic non-cat emissions test which it should fly through as long as its running well. All UK spec and '95 or later have to have a cat test and you need at least 1 cat on (possibly both) to pass that.

I mounted my control units in the space under the stereo, you can take most of the feeds from the stereo:0v, 12v, lights. If you want your switched +12v on accesory, use the stereo feed, or there's a switched +12v on the heater control plug that works off position 2 on the key

Good lord you must get through a lot of tea. Jacked mine up, removed and refurbished the starter, refitted it and put the whole lot back on the floor in about 1 hour. Easy job!!!

I seem to be going against the grain here, but given that Toyotas efforts at strenghtening the chasis are not 100% successful, it might be an interesting project. Take about half a ton of steel, a fully equipped metalwork fabrication shop, a very talented welder and a large truck to put all the money in and you could make it work.

Stick it in a lemon/lemon juice overnight, then clean with brake cleaner. Its just under the turbos, follow the wire along the offside inner wing. If it gives more accurate fuelling, then it must be a good thing - not sure how often it might need doing though.

Sailed through:ecstatic: Was a bit worried about emmisions as i've got a full decat, so I cleaned the O2 sensor earlier this week and it went through with a CO reading of 0.8 (limit 3.5). Was well impressed with the brake test results considering its still on j-spec setup: fronts - 792kg o/s and 786kg n/s imbalance 0.8%. :ecstatic:

Look in the FAQ section, there's a good thread on how to refurb the starter contacts. Costs about £15.00 if you do it yourself. Its an easy job.

Come to Halesowen mate. There is a short stretrch of dual carriageway by me and they resurfaced one side of it last year. The other side regularly has people in land rovers stuck in the potholes. Last week they put up signs to say the road would be closed for resurfacing. So what have they done so far? Dug up the side they did last year!!!!

Think i've picked up a virus on my laptop. Its got Norton antivirus 2005 (updated regularly), but when (if) it starts up, i get strange stripes/odd pixels on the desktop, and a sort of ghosting effect where any closed windows were. It runs slow, and then locks up completely after about 10mins. I've run the hardware diagnostic from the BIOS screen (no problems shown), but I cant get anywhere with Windows (safe mode or normal). Question is, how do I find/remove the virus if I cant get into Windows or run the Norton software to fix it? Don't know if this is related but the wife says she got a strange page appear whilst on Ebay yeterday, something to do with updating browser settings, she says. Any help would be appreciated cos my Clifford wizzard software and lead arrived yesterday and I want to play!!
