  1. Yes, although its always slow during the day.
  2. The adjuster for the peak/hold type gauge is on the control box, not the gauge. Its a small blue plastic screw next to the power multiplug.
  3. Sand blasting doesnt work because the alloy underneath is softer than the chrome. You can get them chemically stripped in the US, but I couldn't find anyone who could do it in this country so I ended up grinding off the chrome with a 80 grit flap wheel in an angle grinder. Was a nightmare of a job, took about 8 hrs per rim, then Ibrar did a cracking job of powdercoating them for me.
  4. Oil pressure switch is most likely. They leak from the switch body and drip onto the side of the sump. Unbolt the air-con compressor from the block and move it out of the way (no need to remove the pipes) and its an easy fix.
  5. Interesting, although last time I asked you for a bike quote you were 5 x more expensive than the best quote on my GSXR. I'll try again in June.

  7. I think the one with the stock temp sensor on the elbow where it comes out of the gearbox is the out, or you could try getting someone to crank the engine (fuel pump fuse pulled) with the pipes disconnected for a couple of seconds.
  8. http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8222&frostProductName=Motorcycle+Fuel+Tank+Repair+Kit&catID=25&subCatID=&FrostCat=Tanks&FrostSubcat= is the stuff you need.
  9. £30 including delivery and i'll take it
  10. Top pipe is from a j spec supra, air inlet pipe to the 2nd (rear) turbo, the large take of pipe on the side goes to the idle air control valve, and the 2 threaded lugs hold the heater matrix supply pipe. Bottom pipe is the air inlet to the 1st (front) turbo. The smaller take off pipe is part of the engine breather system. Not sure if they are the same on uk spec and vvti's though.
  11. These any use to you Chris, J-spec non vvti. I've got full size (5megapixel) ones i can email to you if you need bigger pics.
  12. Idle air control valve VSV (number 7 in pic) wanted in good condition. PM please.
  13. The uk spec tt manifold is different as well. It has the hole for the brake servo pipe, but the raised casting line along the top is offset to the outside and there are extra parts of the casting at the rear for the exhaust gas recirculation stuff.
  14. I'll have one when you next have one available.

  16. Another one for Petplan, paid out over 4K for my GSD a couple of years ago, no problems. I've had him insured with them since he was a puppy. Just read the small print before you sign.
  17. Changing the oils is a good idea if you've no history of when they were last done, but the ecu holds onto the gears slightly longer when the engine is cold to help it warm up quicker.
