  2. Got a set of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-Supra-Brake-Caliper-Decals-Stickers_W0QQitemZ260001602770QQihZ016QQcategoryZ10428QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem In white, free to the first person to PM their address.
  3. Still waiting for mine as well
  4. I've got that backbox, and the matching midsection and a double decat (not for long now though:d ) Its very quiet on tickover- just a nice deep rumble. Sounds good on WOT as well.
  5. You'll probably find your airbag light will stay on now as well. There is instructions on mkiv.com on how to turn it off again.
  6. Braided brake lines for fathers day, and next christmas present arrived today as well; HIDs:d
  7. The wires for the o/d switch run down the shift lever into a multiplug at the front of the lever on the transmission tunnel. You need to remove the surround and the centre console, then unplug the wires (one of two multiplugs, cant remember which one) then carefully feed the wire around the linkages, cutting off the cable ties as you go. The multiplug just fits between the two halfs of the mounting plate, but you have to jiggle it a bit. Its a PITA job to be honest.

  9. Excellent job so far, keep up the good work. Try and get hold of some "Duck oil". It's much better than wd40 for using on tight bolts.
  10. Congratulations to you both.
  11. I just typed 'shock absorber' into google and i got a page full of bra manufacturers:d
  12. Calibrate the speedo with the ignition switched on. The needle should sit 2-3mm the wrong side of the peg when you push it on to the shaft. Then gently bend the end of the needle over the peg so it sits on 0mph.
  13. It also less than the missus 2.3 ford galaxy that she needs for her job (childminder) which costs her £210 per year. Thats gordon browns 4x4 tax in action for you.
  14. sent, got to be worth a try, they owe me enough for nice set of hybrids i reckon
  15. I made a mounting plate out of a piece of sheet steel sprayed to match the car, then put a 390 x 70 plate on.
  16. In my experience intermittant faults like yours are caused by a dodgy earth point somwhere on the car causing a power feedback through various other electrical items. I would guess at somewhere behind the dash or on the transmission tunnel. Best bet would be to remove most of the dash and work your way through the earth points one at a time. Unbolt the connector, clean it and mark it with paint so you know its been done.
  17. Its a bit of a long way to come, but there's a few electrical geniuses on here,a description of the problem might help. I would think replacing the whole lot would be hugely expensive.
  18. you'd disconnect your wastegate actuator and send all the exhaust through no 1 turbo throughout the rev range. Pretty sure that would permanently "deactivate" them
  19. Any move to a big single will decrease low speed drivability IMHO, thats why Mr T went to all the trouble of the twin turbo setup. if you want low end power, get a supercharger or stay stock
  20. air direction and window buttons are LEDs, not bulbs. Chances are it is dry solder joints. I've done a few of these for members on here, or you can do it yourself if you are handy with a soldering iron.
  21. for just the pin, the part no is 90240-06017
  22. its not a flat piece, very complicated with lots of holes and reflectors to bounce the light around from the backlight bulbs.
  23. Petrol: fill the tank up then put it at full Temp: in the middle with the engine fully warmed up rpm: 650 at warm tickover (aircon off) speedo: engine on, car stationery, put the needle just the wrong side or the stopper, then lift it over the little peg so it sits on 0
  24. Mine passed in feb this year (aug '93 TT). I was a bit concerned, but according to the MOT guys computer it had a non cat test
