  1. Forgot to put, Fronts are Hi disc, rears are Lo disc. I got mine from gaz at Envy, Great price and service:thumbs:
  2. There is a hard plastic pipe with a push fitting that runs from the intake pipe to the manifold (on the top right hand side of the engine) which is prone to splitting. This would cause your symptoms and cost about £10 to replace. Was a while ago that i last fixed one so i dont have the part number any more.
  3. I used to have a 5zigen exhaust that bends around the rear suspension. Didn't have any more ground clearance than the Boostlogic one i've got now though. The rear subframe is the low point and they all have to pass underneath it.
  4. There is always the train mate:)
  5. Recommended supra fitment with standard arches is Front: 18 x 9 et +35. Rear: 18 x 10.5 et +44. There are some pics in my garage.
  6. I did that to a scania truck once:d
  7. Stock belt is fine for most engines. some people recommend the Power enterprise one, but it is 3 times the price.
  8. Thats correct, probably 3 hrs labour to do. I'd also get the aux belt changed and ALL the fluids.
  9. It is an all aluminium part. The black on the end tanks is foam insulation to seal it into the heater box. The only reason the supe one rots is the in and out pipes are both at the top, so any crud just stays in the bottom and rots them out. Frequent coolant flush/changes would stop them ever rotting. This one is mint
  10. Dont do it Rob. I've been a truck driver for nearly 15 years and honestly, its a dismal job. The hours are long, there is a huge ammount of pressure and the cost of getting your license is prohibitive. Its unlikley you'll get a firm to pay for your training as there are so many qualified eastern european drivers coming in these days.
  11. I have a used, but excellent condition heater matrix from a J-spec TT, (but will fit all models) as I replaced my entire cooling system last year. These cost over £200 for the matrix from Toyota. I am offering this for sale, fully fitted, for £575 which will include replacing the 2 heater hoses under the bonnet if neccessary. All you will need to do is regas the airconditioning - Ibrar is about 20 minutes away and does an excellent job. The job will take 2 - 3 days depending on the weather and I live just outside Birmingham. Any questions, PM me. Rich.
  12. Even after a short drive, at least some of the white stuff coming out of the exhaust will be steam, considering how much it has p155ed down today.
  13. Sorry to hear this Greg. If htere's anything I can do to help, give me a ring.
  14. I suppose you would prefer lying on your back under the car trying to make fluid flow uphill out of a bottle into a hole you cant see until it pours out all over your arm.
  15. lots anything is possible much harder than modifying j-spec lights - uk bulb fail units are completely different
  16. I think 18 x 8 would be for the mk iii. The mk iv needs a wider rear, 9" minimum.
  17. Washer bottle from a uk spec is slightly different to a j-spec, as it has 2 pumps. One for the front and rear wash and a seperate pump for the dildos
  18. Sorry guys, bought and paid for:d and i'd only just that minute switched the computer on too:p
  19. There is just one pump, with 2 pipes coming off it. I think there is one way valves in each pipe, or the pump outlet. Thats probably whats knackered.
  20. I'll Take them. PM on the way
  21. Depends on what intercooler/ induction you have. I put mine on the side of the chassis rail under the o/s headlight.
  22. Greg's right, there is room under the n/s headlight to mount the ballast flat on the top of the chassis rail. I used the bracket that came with the kit and fixed it with 2 self tapping screws.
  23. I'm coming to watch if the weather is ok, but if my helmet happens to fall into the back of my car, perhaps someone would be kind enough to let me be a passenger for a lap or 10;)
  24. Calm down, he never said anything about making them work, thats for next weekend:p
  25. Now you can await your reply from Ebay telling you to go get F%#ed
